to Josh...
What song would it be? And if you can find them online, post the lyrics.

"Damn, Wish I Was Your Lover" by Sophie B. Hawkins
or

Lose Your Way by Sophie B. Hawkins

I have no confidence
And I can’t see why I should
But I could do most anything for you
And you know I would

I try too hard
And then I give up way too easily
I’m the runner up inside of you
And you’re the winner inside of me

Lose your way
And I will follow
Here today
And here tomorrow
Like my freedom I know
I’ll never let you go

I still wish on the evening star
And I s’pose I always will
Every child loses something
A whole life can’t fulfill
And when you cry I feel the sky
Burst open in my veins
If loving you makes a slave of me
Then I’ll spend my whole life in chains

Lose your way
And I will follow
Here today
And here tomorrow
Like my freedom I know
I’ll never let you go
Walk the line
I’ll walk inside you
Change your mind
Let your love decide you
It’s the reason I know
You’ll never let me go

national anthem (one of my very favorite songs on earth)

Oh say can you see,
by the dawn's early light,
what so proudly we hailed,
at the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
through the perilous fight,
o'er the ramparts we watched,
were so gallantly streaming.

And the rocket's red glare,
the bombs bursting in air,
gave proof through the night,
that our flag was still there.

Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
o'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

..or "Do Me, Baby"....LOL...I can think of so many sexy ones...give me some time here.

"Fever" is a good one too.

Olive: Who sings that song? It seems familiar to me.

Magic Man was sung by a group called Heart. It was Trip's/Josh's theme song from the movie "The Virgin Suicides".

I knew that sounded familiar. I haven't seen that movie. I'd like to see Blow Dry too. I'm a little behind.

I always think of Josh when I hear Dinah Washington's version of this Noel Coward song...

Mad about the boy,
I know it’s stupid to be mad about the boy,
I’m so ashamed of it, but must admit
The sleepless nights I’ve had about the boy.

On the silver screen,
He melts my foolish heart in ev’ry single scene,
Although I’m quite aware that here and there,
Are traces of a cad about the boy.

Lord knows I’m not a fool girl,
I really shouldn’t care.
Lord knows I’m not a schoolgirl,
In the flurry of her first affair.

Will it ever cloy?
This odd diversity of misery and joy.
I’m feeling quite insane and young again
And all because I’m mad about the boy.

Mad about the boy,
it's pretty funny, but I'm mad about the boy
He has a gay appeal, that makes me feel
There's maybe something sad about the boy.

Walking down the street
His eyes look out at me from people that I meet;
I can't believe it's true, but when I'm blue,
In some strange way, I'm glad about the boy.
I'm hardly sentimental,
Love isn't so sublime,
I have to pay my rental and I can't afford to waste much time.

If I could employ
A little magic that would finally destroy
This dream that pains me and enchains me, but I can't,
Because I'm mad about the boy!
Mad about the boy!

(definitely one for us older Josh fans!)

There are many songs I like and fit in...
But lately I think about this song Strange and Beautiful from Aqualung. From the movie WP...

I've been watching your world from afar,
I've been trying to be where you are,
And I've been secretly falling apart,
I'll see.
To me, you're strange and you're beautiful,
You'd be so perfect with me but you just can't see,
You turn every head but you don't see me.

I'll put a spell on you,
You'll fall asleep and I'll put a spell on you.
And when I wake you,
I'll be the first thing you see, lyricstop
And you'll realise that you love me.

Yeah...
Yeah...

Sometimes, the last thing you want comes in first,
Sometimes, the frist thing you want never comes,
And I know, the waiting is all you can do,
Sometimes...

I'll put a spell on you,
You'll fall asleep,
I'll put a spell on you,
And when I wake you,
I'll be the first thing you see,
And you'll realise that you love me.

I'll put a spell on you,
You'll fall asleep 'cos I'll put a spell on you,
And when I wake you,
I'll be the first thing you see,
And you'll realise that you love me, yeah...

yeah...
yeah...
yeah...
yeah...

Oh Olive I love that song Magic man...

Now that you've said that, I went and rented it at the video store. Josh with a British accent was intriguing enough for me. Really needed to see that one.

Very individual, I know, but for me, it was 'Bring me to life' by Evanescence.

*it's called More Than Words by westlife *

Saying I love you,
Is not the words,
I want to hear from you,
It's not that I want you,
Not to say but if you only knew,
How easy,
it would be to show me how you feel,

More than words,
is all you have to do,
to make it real,
Then you wouldn't have to say,
that you love me,
Cause I'd already know,

What would you do,
if my heart was torn in two,

More than words to show you feel,
That your love for me is real,

What would you say,
if I took those words away,

Then you couldn't make things new,
Just by saying I love you,

It's more than words,
It's more than what you say,
It's the things you do,
oh yeah,
It's more than words,
It's more than what you say,
It's the things you do,
oh yeah,

Now that I've tried to,
talk to you and make you understand,
All you have to do,
is close your eyes,
And just reach out your hands,
and touch me,
Hold me close don't ever let me go,

More than words,
is all I ever needed you to show,
Then you wouldn't have to say,
that you love me,
Cause I'd already know,

What would you do,
if my heart was torn in two,

More than words to show you feel,
That your love for me is real,
What would you say,
if I took those words away,
Then you couldn't make things new,(no no)
Just by saying I love you.....
