She (the wisely anonymous CJ) really doesn't like Josh. Harsh on Hartnett Josh Hartnett should not be surprised to see himself as the "Star Shocker" in this issue. Didn't someone recently poke fun at his rumored facial hair? "Lately he's gone from clean-cut stud to disheveled dud," wrote David Caplan and Jill Olich in a verbal takeout of the St. Paul-born Hartthrob. They picked apart Hartnett thoroughly, complete with graphics. NYC grooming guru Eric Malka and men's fashion mag editor Aaron Krach supplied tips on restoring Hartnett to hunkdom: Get a haircut ... Get some sleep ... Ditch the unibrow. About that would-be facial hair, Krach said: "It's all really patchy, and he doesn't have enough hair to make it work. Get rid of it!" The star of "Wicker Park" (that whistling sound was the noise heard shortly before this bomb hit theaters) was advised to get a $560 Art of Shaving Thuja Wood Set and $18 Slant Tweezers. A possible explanation for Hartnett's "dark circles" is provided in another article on page 27, by Brenda You. She suggests that Hartnett is cycling babes through his life with gusto, although the article says Hartnett's mouthpiece claims he wasn't dating either of the women mentioned: Daria Werbowy, a Canadian model, or Rashida Jones, daughter of famed music producer Quincy. Star claims that Hartnett is a messy roommate who leaves his clothes all over the floor until laundry day, when he scoops them up and drops them "off to his girlfriends to wash." If this is true, Hartnett will run out of clothes before he runs out of women who think this is cute at least once. Source And the pictures they use to compare old Josh to new Josh; of course he looks more groomed in a publicity shot from PH, than in real life. How stupid is that! Don't they know the movies is pretend; it's not how people really look! And the bit about his private life; don't even get me started on that! People forget that when they point a finger there are 3 fingers pointing back at them. I don't consider that journalism, trash. ps. He is hot regardless. |

What a stupid article! Of course Josh is going to look "better" (by their standards, not mine) in a Pearl Harbor publicity shoot (where they have him tanned, with makeup, perfect hair, etc) than in real life with none of those things done for him. I think he looks hot. That article had no substance to it. Josh is a good actor (which, news flash to the press: Is all he cares about) so his looks, whatever they may be, shouldn't matter. I think Josh is still the most attractive actor in Hollywood, his unibrow is cute, I like his messy hair, and the facial hair (while not my favorite thing) is cute on him. The press are so annoying. They just don't get it.

They must've had nothing better to write about They think all stars should be perfect in every single moment of their lives. And if for one split second, heaven forbid, they should look bedraggled, *BOOM*! It's worth writing an entire article with the opinion of three so-called 'fashion gurus' They must be real low to be such pathetic hypocrites

Thanks for the article Kate. I won't even dignify that kind of trash mumbo jumbo with a response. However, I will say that I would be glad to wash Josh's clothes for him. Hear that Josh? O.K., now take 'em off and hand them over so I can wash them.

haha. No kidding, if he does have his girlfriend do his laundry for him, that only makes him a normal guy. I've even washed some of my guy-friends clothes, it is just a male thing, they need someone to be their mom and pick up for them (some guys not all).
