| I found this link on another forum, apparently Sin City is due to be released on April 1 (in the US I am guessing, it doesn't specify), I hope this isn't an April fools day joke...but there is a good article about the movie here http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=5691 The article also explains Josh's role in the movie. Apparently they made a mini-movie to prove that the story would work, and good old Josh did it as a favor for Robert Rodriguez |

| Sorry, I'm not very good at linking things here is a transcript: It is kind of long, so here is the part that is about Josh: "Rodriguez, as it turns out, was not the first filmmaker to approach Miller about adapting Sin City, but after being burned by Hollywood more than once, Miller was not eager to put his baby in the hands of a studio that would rather water down everything that made the book so intoxicating for readers. Thanks to his tenacity however, Rodriguez was able to bend Miller's ear just enough to convince him to give him a shot, and with that the film was unoffically in production. Pulling in a favor from actor Josh Hartnett, who starred in the director's underrated film "The Faculty", Rodriguez pushed out a rough cut to show Miller what Sin City could be. Needless to say, that's all it took." The article also goes on to talk about the other cast in the film, but that's all the Josh info. |
