Favorite Josh scene.

So, what's everyone's favorite Josh scene in a movie?

One of my favorite scenes (Josh or not) would have to be the final scene of WP. It's so romantic I can hardly stand it. I used to think kissing over the b-day cake while sitting on the table with Jake Ryan in "Sixteen Candles" was the most romantic. As soon as WP ended in the theater, I declared crouching on the ground in the airport to be more romantic. I LOVED IT!!

I am also a huge fan of Trip Fontaine walking down the hall to "Magic Man" (one of the best songs ever, imo) in The Virgin Suicides.

mine would have to be the scene in pearl harbour where they are shooting the wall and they see evelyn and someone says "are you all right man?" and danny answers "yeah...no i think im falling for her"thats my favourite but dont know why

Just off the top of my head, the parachute hangar scene in Pearl Harbor. I mean, what female in her right mind would not want to be under--oops,I mean with-- Josh in that sexy/romantic scene. :D

OMG - I have a favorite scene from every single one of his movies. [img]graemlins/nut.gif[/img] I can't decide now.

One of my favorite non-romantic Josh scenes is at the end of Black Hawk Down when he is talking to the dead soldier:

"Nobody asks to be a hero. It just sometimes turns out that way." [img]graemlins/sniff.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/faint.gif[/img]

Josh delivered his lines brilliantly in this scene!

My favourite scene from my favourite film is from "O"... when after the carnage that takes place at the end, and Odin has the gun pointing at Hugo. Hugo can see a 'get-out' if he plays things right and says something like;

"From here on, I say nothing."

It's so calulating and evil; thinking he could get the blame to shift to Odin.

And I love the voice overs at the begining and end... Josh is the Voice-Over King! (think O, BHD, Sin City and soon The Black Dahlia).

I love that scene too! Everytime I hear 'The Scientist' by Coldplay I think of that scene. [img]graemlins/faint.gif[/img]
I also love the scene in The Virgin Suicides where Josh and Kirsten are in the auditorium, and he asks her out. Too cute. ;)

All of Josh's scenes in VS are memorable! The "Crazy on you" scene is brilliant. (Crazyonyou is my other sign on name, btw) [img]graemlins/nut.gif[/img]

I love the PH scene when he tells Evelyn "You know? The only thing that scares me, is that you might love him more then you love me." I love it when he is playing someone so unsure of himself.

And also the scene when he comming out of the car and is planning to tell Evelyn about Rafe's dead.

From WP it would be the scene where he is talking to Alex and Luke at the end of the movie "When you see something from afar, you develop a fantasy. But when you see it up close, 9 times out of 10, you wish you hadn't." and the following scene where Alex gives him the letter and he is crying.

He is such a great actor....!

I love that scene too, so sweet, makes my heart feel all fuzzy every time! I get a little teary eyed still every time I see that scene! [img]smile.gif[/img]

What about the scene in WP when Matt sees Lisa home after their first date. She kisses him in the car, then goes out, waves him goodbye - he is dazed and pleasanly surprised, drives off THEN rams the car back, pulls in, runs up the stairs, hesitates before finally knocking on the door and Lisa grabs him.

I like the way he reverses the car back into shot too; pretty fun and in the DVD commentary, Paul McGuigan jokes about Josh's bad driving in that scene.

I have to go with the top three again here.-

-The Magic Man scene from VS – do I really need to say anything more about that one. [img]graemlins/faint.gif[/img]

-The Shoe Store scene from WP – where Matt is pretending to work there and is helping Lisa try on shoes and she puts her bare foot on his leg. His reaction is so adorable.

-Any and Every scene with Josh in it in Pearl Harbor. I know this one is not fair, but come on we’re talking about PH. I couldn’t pick just one. [img]graemlins/nut.gif[/img]

I thought about a list of honorable mentions, but there are just too many. So far I agree with everyone elses picks though.

I love the "A Streetcar Named Desire" play at the end of Hollywood Homicide. Josh is so "hunky" here it hurts. That flimsy t-shirt and tight jeans---WOW! The scene is so cute and funny. I love it when he sprays himself with water, and when he has the girl over his shoulder and he falls with her. I love it when he calls her his "baby girl".
