40 Days and 40 Nights on US TV

40D and 40N will be on US TV numerous times during the month of December starting this coming Thursday.

I'm sorry but I won't be watching. I hated what they did to PH when it was on tv and I tried watching O when it was on. They butched it. I'm not going through that again with 40/40. I'm sticking with my DVD's from now on.

I think I'm gonna pass this opportunity. I just rather watch the whole thing unedited on DVD.

Is that where they edit out all the swearwords and make them say funny things instead? They should have like a special edition dvd where you get to see the version with all the edits too! That would be so cool!

Interesting; 40/40 was also on German TV about 1 1/2 weeks ago (and I watched it, though I don't like the movie itself and the genre that much). :D

I watched 40 Days and 40 Nights on TV last night and was really surprised how good the editing was. There were at least a couple of new filler scenes that I had never seen before that were probably added to make up for the deleted nude/sex scenes, etc. that were cut for the TV version. I don't think these scenes were in the theatrical version or the VHS version. However, they may have been included on the DVD version since I don't have that.

Anyway, they were really cute scenes that I had never seen before. :D

I know I said I wasn't going to watch, but I couldn't resist taking a peek. How can Josh be on tv and I not watch (at least some). [img]graemlins/ohwell.gif[/img] I saw 1 of the filler scenes with the g/f at his job in the conference room. What was the other one?

Btw - no deleted scenes were on the DVD. I was really disappointed - it was a no real frills DVD. I'm hoping that when Josh is really really big they'll go back and re-release some of the bare-bones DVDs. 40/40 (outtakes please) and HH (more yoga) in particular.

Tell us about the filler scenes!

There were at least two new filler scenes that I remember. (I taped it, so I'll go back and watch it again later to see if there were more.)

As Tcup said, one was a scene with Nicole and Matt in a conference room at Matt's workplace.

Another was a scene with Erica and Matt having coffee at what appeared to be a diner where the waitress accidentally pours hot coffee on Matt's hand. I think this particular new scene added a certain sweetness to the storyline in that you could see how much Matt and Erica really, really liked each other.
