I agree with Scarlett on monogomy; it is very hard work sometimes, but that doesn't mean I don't think it's worth the hard work, so who's to say she doesn't think the same.
Because she does also say;

"I think marriage is a very romantic idea, but when you look at it as an economic necessity I think that's different for different people. But someday when I decide I would like to have children with somebody I think it would be nice to be married."

If this is true, what is clearly apparent to me from all this information is that Scarlett is a successful young woman(emphasis on "young"!)who shouldn't settle down at this point in her life. I don't know where she and Josh will go with their relationship, and, frankly, it's none of anybody's business, but it appears she is not ready for a long-term commitment. I just hope Josh feels the same way.

It's too bad they make such a big deal out of comments like these. You never know if it's true or not. And either way it casts a shadow on the other person in the relationship. Like they've been a sitting duck if the relationship ends in some distant future.

I just don't like when people start with "human beings...." like we're all the same. Everything about everyone differs depending on where you grow up and how you were raised etc. rar. Nothing against her, I mean, SO many people do that.
