NOT EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE SPOILED! **** Returning for its fourth season, this haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to their dangerous, other-worldly mission. This past season, the clock was ticking as Sam and Dean journeyed into the dark world of the unexplained to find a way to break Dean's deadly contract with the evil Lilith. The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester. SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Kripke Enterprises Inc. and Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers Eric Kripke ("Boogeyman"), McG ("Charlie's Angels," "The O.C."), Robert Singer ("Midnight Caller") and Kim Manners ("The X-Files"). ***** That ominous, season-ending image of Dean chained above Hell's fiery pits inexplicably understandably has Supernatural fans on edge. Here's just a sampling of what was waiting for me in my Ask Ausiello mailbag when I returned from vacation yesterday: • "Has Jensen Ackles left Supernatural?" Jessica • "I heard a rumor that Jensen Ackles is leaving Supernatural? Is this true?" Theresa • "It's official: I'm a nervous wreck after watching the Supernatural finale! I just can’t believe what happened to my dear Dean! He can't be dead. Not Dean!" Silke • "If Jensen Ackles is leaving Supernatural, the show just lost me as a viewer." Clara Relax, Clara. And Silke. And Theresa. And Jessica. And all you other Supe Nazis freaking out over Dean's fate. Sam's brother half is here to stay. How do I know this? Well, for starters, he's the star of the freakin' show! Also, series creator Eric Kripke just told me so via this exclusive statement: "Jensen is 100% returning to the show and is as integral to Supernatural as he has ever been." There you have it. End of story. You guys feel better now? Any other burning questions you have for Kripke about the finale? Post 'em below and I'll do my best to get them answered in time for next week's AA. In other news, did you miss me?!? http://community.tvguide.com/blog-en...nsen/800040240 *** Katie Cassidy returns The producers of "Supernatural" have asked Katie to continue in the series, and signed her up for Season 4! Her character changes. She was excited about this as it was very hard work to create a different perception of "Ruby." http://community.livejournal.com/dean_sam/4502853.html Last edited by Still Dirrty; 05-25-2008 at 09:42 AM.. |

TVGuide.com: You weren't lying when you said you were hoping to make your fans really angry and full of anxiety all summer! Eric Kripke: [Laughs] It was a fun way to end the season. Dean meat-hooked in the center of what looks like a thousand mile spiderweb of rusty chains. Sort of M.C.Escher meets Hellraiser. TVGuide.com: Why did you send Dean to hell? Kripke: Everyone expected Dean to be safe! That's reason enough to send him to hell. But also, in ways I can't reveal, it's a turning point for Dean. You need huge moves to happen that can cause radical shifts in the characters, that set them off in a new direction. So what happens to Dean in hell and how Dean gets out become primary concerns of Season 4. TVGuide.com: So you'll have scene set in hell? Kripke: I can give this away. Dean spends a lot more time in hell than anyone's probably thinking. Dean could spend — in human time — six months, maybe more. In hell time, who knows how many years or decades that might be. [Laughs] I won't tell you how he gets out, but he will emerge to a different landscape. A lot has changed since he's been away, and he has to readjust to his loved ones after being gone for so long. TVGuide.com: Is he still human or… part demon? Kripke: It takes hundreds of years to be burned away into a demon. Dean won't be a demon, but there will be an ongoing mystery. When he gets out of hell, he'll have little recollection of what happened to him down there. That's one of the mysteries of the season. TVGuide.com: Speaking of demons, will Ruby be back? And any new characters? Kripke: Ruby will be back, and we're introducing a new supernatural species. We intend to bring back Steve Williams, the old embittered hermit hunter Rufus. TVGuide.com: Let's get to the heart and soul of the show. How will Dean's hellish sojourn affect the relationship between the brothers? Kripke: It will affect it massively. We'll slowly unfold Dean remembering what happened in hell, and that will drastically affect their relationship. Dean is basically a POW coming home from the worst hellhole — literally — ever. How do you reconnect with your life when you've been through something that horrific? That becomes one of his issues. But don't worry, he's still the same smart ass he always was. TVGuide.com: What's grieving little brother Sam been up to? In the finale, we saw some of his power in his fight with über demon Lilith. Kripke: We presented him as immune to her powers. We have some twists and turns in store with that. Sam promised Dean right before Dean died that he wasn't going to pursue any of his powers in terms of discovering his potential. Upon Dean's return, Sam tells him "I promised I wouldn't head down that road because you made me promise," but we begin to wonder if indeed that is the truth. For whatever it's worth, the writers have never been this excited about a season. We have some really exciting plot twists. TVGuide.com: Maybe they'll be exciting enough that this won't be your last season? Kripke: Maybe. But you write every season like it's your last and hope for the best. http://www.tvguide.com/news/supernat...ipke/080529-01 |

"I have nothing but great affection for Katie, and she was great for the show. It was a very difficult business decision about the realities we are in." Though the budget’s the same as last year, the show films in Canada and is suffering from a lousy exchange rate. There will be female characters, Kripke promises. But expect more of the love ‘em, leave ‘em or kill ‘em variety. “We have a plan that’s as exciting as any we’ve ever had of how to thread new characters in some unexpected ways,” he said, adding that the season opener will have a couple of “bombshells that will set the show off in a new direction.” Just don’t mess too much with those Winchester boys! — Ileane Rudolph Source: TVGuide.com |

The gang reconvened in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 2 to begin filming the fourth season premiere of the CW series, entitled "Lazarus Rising." The network recently announced that the new season will kick off on Thursday, September 18, and now we have some interesting details regarding the plot of the premiere. There are some light spoilers ahead, so read on at your own risk. With a title like "Lazarus Rising," I think it's safe to assume that Dean (Jensen Ackles) will likely be up and walking around again by the end of the season premiere. For those not familiar with the Bible, Lazarus was a man who was dead for four days before being resurrected by Jesus. It's interesting that the Supernatural writers would put such an obvious reference in the episode title. Maybe they want to assure fans that Dean won't stay dead for long. TV Guide recently reported that actress Traci Dinwiddie has been cast as Pamela Barnes in Supernatural's season premiere. The character is described as being "kick ass hot looking in a Gina Gershon kind of way." As Bobby mentions in the episode, Pamela is considered "the best damn psychic in the state," and she's recruited by him and Sam (Jared Padalecki) to track down demons and possibly learn more about Dean's fate. Now that we know that Katie Cassidy won't be returning as Ruby, maybe Pamela will be the one to help Dean fight his way out of Hell. According to spoilers posted at Supernatural.tv, it looks like Pamela, Bobby and Sam will be participating in a séance, possibly in an attempt to contact Dean. However, in the middle of the séance the psychic stumbles upon another spirit: Azazel. Could old yellow eyes also have a hand in resurrecting the deceased Winchester? We'll have to wait and find out. The fourth season premiere of Supernatural is now less than two months away, so dust off your Colt and zip up your meat suit, because the wait is nearly over. Source: Buddytv.com Casting News: Tracy Dinwiddle Joins "Supernatural" Traci Dinwiddie, a vivacious thirty-five year old brunette, has been cast in the guest starring role of ‘Pamela Barnes’ in the season four opener of the hit CW/ Warner Bros series Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester: two brothers who have been raised in the ‘family business’ of saving people by driving around a black ‘67 Chevy Impala with a trunk load of weapons hunting down supernatural creatures, demons and monster. In the episode titled Lazarus Rising which began filming on July 2nd and will air on the CW Network on September fourth, the beautiful and exotic looking Dinwiddie plays Pamela Barnes, who is described in the casting sides as being ‘kick ass hot looking in a Gina Gershon kind of way’. Pamela also just happens to be, in the words of the Winchester brother’s good friend Bobby Singer (played by Jim Beaver), ‘the best damn psychic in the state’. Pamela has been contacted by her old friend Bobby to help he and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) track down demons and to possibly learn more about the fate of Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) who was last seen in the Supernatural season 3 finale ‘No Rest for the Wicked’ hanging by hooks pierced through his flesh after being dragged into hell by demonic hounds sent to fetch his soul in consummation of deal he had made to trade his soul for the life of his brother. Traci Dinwiddie, who describes her own spirit as ‘fiercely creative’, brings a wealth of talent and experience with her to her guest stint on Supernatural as psychic Pamela Barnes. Dinwiddie has made guest appearances on such noted series as 'Dawson’s Creek', 'One Tree Hill', Taken Away and 'Target Earth'. She has appeared in numerous big screen movies such as ‘Mr. Brooks’, 'The Notebook' and having lead roles in ‘End of the Spear’ and the just completed ‘Three Words and A Star’. Dinwiddie is also a very familiar voice to anyone who follows Anime, having done the American voice over work for such Anime films as 'Voogie’s Angel', 'Earthian' and has just completed work on ‘The Diamond of Jeru’. Dinwiddie is also an accomplished stage actor as well having had the lead in such productions as ‘Always..Patsy Cline’, ‘A, My ‘Name is Alice’ and ‘Psycho Beach Party’. Supernatural is currently in reruns of season three on the CW Network on Thursday nights at 9PM EST. Supernatural season 4 premieres on the CW Network on Thursday September 4th at 9PM EST with the season opener, ‘Lazarus Rising’. Source: TV Guide |

Diner –Day John and Rick sit side by side at the counter. Rick asks where the hell he is and the Kid sitting close to them looks up, but John answers that Rick’s at Chase’s Diner. Rick quickly retorts a thanks since by the décor it’s fairly obvious the name of the place and presses John for the City and state. John returns that it’s Lawrence, Kansas. Rick is reeling from that tidbit of information and John asks if Rick is okay. Rick covers saying that he just had a rough night. That was damn near close to stating the obvious from the way Rick looks and John asks Reg, the counter man, to get some coffee. Rick pulls out his cell phone, to which John stares at in weired out fascination. Rick asks where he can get reception and John hesitates before saying the USS Enterprise. Reg approaches with the coffee and Rick thanks him, also comments on Reg’s outfit joking that Sonny and Cher broke up right? John looks up from his paper, straight-faced, and asks if it’s true that Sonny and Cher broke up. Then before getting to truly digest the rumor, Mr. Dodds, 40s, yells out for Winchester. John shakes the Mr. Dodd’s hand. Dodd’s asks how Corporal Winchester’s been doing. Mr. Dodds says that he heard John just got back and John replies that he’s been back for a while now. Mr. Dodds says he’s glad to have John home and John agrees saying that makes two of them. Mr. Dodds then gets serious, and comments that he heard it got pretty rough over there. John returns just as serious that it did, but he’s home now. Mr. Dodds asks what’s next for John and John says that he’s got some big plans. Mr. Dodd’s tells John to say hello to his old man for him, and John says he will. Mr. Dodds walks away from the conversation and John realizes that Rick is staring at him, and it’s starting to get creepy. John questions if Rick and he know each other. Rick says he guesses not, but John takes a long look at Rick like he can’t figure him out. John finally gives in and points Rick in the direction of Woodstock. XXXXXX Int. Family House- Night Deanna, 40s, gracious but no-nonsense, enters and tells Samuel to knock it off. Samuel says that Rick's a cheat. Deanna says that may be but Rick passed Samuel's test so now she's going to invite him to dinner. Rick's excited about that and says that he's starving. Deanna says that's good, introduces herself and tells Rick to wash up. XXXXXXX Rick is at the table next to Samuel, Mary and Deanna as they all enjoy their dinner. Deanna asks if it's Rick's first time in Lawrence and Rick says that it's been a while and the city's changed, at least he thinks it has. Samuel shares a look with his wife and then Deanna proceeds to ask if Rick has a job. Rick says that he doesnt have one yet, but he's hoping to get some work with John at the Winchester garage. Samuel makes a face at the mention of John's name and Mary calls him on it. Samuel tells her to hold on, that John's a nice kid, but he just can't provide for Daddy's little girl. Deanna returns that John is a sweet man who loves Mary very much. Samuel tries to interject but Deanna quickly counters recalling when a skinny no cent to his name young man showed up to on her doorstep and had to meet her dad who certainly didn't think too much of Samuel. XXXXXX John and Mary are sharing a booth, mid-conversation. John says that he should talk to Mary’s dad. Mary disagrees and says that her Dad is just being a dad, and it’s not John. John asks how it ain’t him and asks if Mary’s dad’s always been like that. Mary defends saying that her dad is just protective and doesn’t want her to— John doesn’t let Mary finish that thought and interjects asking if its cause her dad doesn’t want her to hook up with a mechanic from a family of mechanics. Mary answers with a firm no and says that she loves John for exactly who he is. XXXXXX Mary lays on her bed, flipping through a stack of record albums. Jeff knocks on the open door. He tells Mary that he’s shoving off and just wanted to say goodbye. Mary asks if it really has to be this soon. Jeff says that yeah, he’s got a job to do, then pauses before going on to say that for what its worth it doesn’t matter what Mary’s dad thinks, he likes that John guy. Mary’s a little surprised that Jeff thinks so and Jeff says that yeah, he thinks they are meant for each other and he’s kind of depending on that. Jeff then asks what John is like. Mary says that John’s sweet even after everything overseas, it didn’t make him bitter, he still believes in that happy-ever-after stuff. Mary pauses then confesses that she thinks John’s gonna propose soon, maybe even tomorrow. She says that she doesn’t even care that her dad’s gonna freak out, she’ll run away if she has to ‘cause she loves John. Jeff asks he can tell Mary something. Mary says sure and Jeff says that even if its sounds really weird, Mary has to promise to remember. Jeff tells Mary that on November 2, 1983 not to get out of bed. No matter what, just don’t. Mary takes that in and smiles gently. She tells Jeff that he is a strange one, but there’s still something she can’t put her finger on. XXXXXX Mary and John are inside the car. John is anxious and Mary knows exactly why. John says he guesses its no secret why he brought Mary out here, and pulls out a ring box. Mary’s eyes widen, its totally the moment she’s dreamed off, but theres a bit of hesitation. John picks up on it, but tells Mary to just let him get through this. Mary tells him to wait, and asks what if something happens to John. John takes that in, but opens the box anyways exposing the engagement ring to Mary. John says that nothing is going to happen to him and he’ll always love Mary. Mary is moved, but suddenly there’s a banging on Mary’s window and the door swings open. Samuel demands to know why he was disobeyed, and Mary is clearly upset with her father. Samuel doesn’t seem to care what his daughter thinks and pulls her from the car saying its time to go. Source: Supernatural.tv ************ Comic-con Highlights • According to Ackles, Dean's death came as a huge shock to him. "I'm flipping through that last script," he said, "and I get to that last page, and I'm like 'Oh, that's gotta be a typo.'" Eric Kripke worried that killing Dean might not have much of an impact since he's killed the boys so many times already, but he went ahead and did it anyway. • Kripke mentioned that the door is always open for Jeffrey Dean Morgan to return, though there are no current plans to bring him back. Fans will instead get to see a 20-year-old John and 18-year-old Mary in the fourth episode of the new season. • Though the Smallville producers at the previous panel stated that they'd love their show to go on indefinitely, Kripke would still like to end things after season 5. "It's better to go out on top," he said. "I'm really afraid of jumping the shark." • One of the episodes Ben Edlund is most proud of is "Ghostfacers." He also came up with the Ghostfacers theme song, which was then performed on stage by the guys themselves when they made a surprise appearance at the panel. Kripke originally wanted to call them The Boys in Boo, but Edlund told him that was a terrible name. • Fans can look forward to seeing more of the Ghostfacers in a "short form spin-off series." The details are currently being worked out, but it sounds like the guys may be getting their own webisodes. • Every time Edlund has to pitch an episode, he comes in with an idea about a fish that grants wishes. Maybe it'll happen someday, but Kripke keeps putting it off. • "I wrote in a love interest to kind of screw with you guys," Kripke admitted, referring to the new girl Sam will be involved with in the season premiere. He loves how angry the fans get anytime a potential love interest comes into the series, but he also promised that viewers will be happy with her character's journey. • When asked what the theme of season 4 would be, Kripke jokingly stated, "Pornography." Jensen's response? "I'm thrilled!" • No matter how awesome the '67 Chevy Impala may look, Kripke claims that it "handles like a shopping cart." • For the Bon Jovi sing-along in "No Rest for the Wicked," Kripke instructed Jensen to sing off-key. He said that the actor actually has a very impressive singing voice. • Kripke wouldn't confirm or deny whether season 4 will explore Sam's powers, but he did say that viewers will learn more about Mary Winchester. • The folks behind Supernatural have been inspired by numerous Asian horror movies, including Ringu, Ju-On, The Eye and A Tale of Two Sisters. • Kripke has tried to get cult icon Bruce Campbell on the show many times, but it's tough now that he's a regular on USA's Burn Notice. However, there is one familiar face coming to the show. Mitch Pileggi, who's best known for playing Skinner on The X-Files, will play Mary's father in what Kripke described as "the time travel episode." • Both Jensen and Jared would love to do a western-themed episode, though Jared mentioned that he couldn't see the boys in spurs and cowboy hats. "Assless chaps?" Kripke asked. "Yes, please," Jensen responded. • "I hope it gets darker," Jared said when asked if season 4 will bring some new shades to the dynamic between Sam and Dean. "When Sam and Dean are separated they'll be dealing with things they don't want to share with each other," Jensen added. Despite this, Kripke promised that the brotherly bonding will remain in the new season. Source: BuddyTV.com ************** General Season 4 Spoilers "We're just starting to talk about it, but I think we'll do it this season," Kripke teased. "An episode where the boys investigate a haunting at one of the high schools they used to go to, and then flashback to what the boys' high school lives were like. We'll sort of see them played by 18-year-olds and giving people swirlies, or whatever the hell they did. I don't know yet, we haven't worked it out." Though the storyline featuring the teenage Winchester brothers is still being hashed out, Kripke does know just how much of Dean's stint in Hell viewers will be seeing. "We're not really going to see Hell except in quick flashes and those types of moments," he said. "There isn't going to be like, fade in, Hell, Dean being poked with a pitchfork. It's going to be more about his return to Earth, and what that does to you psychologically. He's still Dean, but deep in his soul he's been in the worst POW camp ever." The separation between Sam and Dean will greatly affect their relationship throughout the season. By the time Dean returns in the season premiere, four months will have passed in Sam's life. Kripke discussed how this time apart allowed the writers certain freedoms, saying, "The boys have never been able to keep secrets from each other before. Not since season one when they were separate. So to have a period of time where they were separate, and they can surprise each other again, has been really refreshing and fun to write." Padalecki also opened up about how Dean's death will affect Sam. Both of the brothers will be wrestling with their own personal demons throughout the season, and also trying to reconnect after their time apart. "I think Sam and Dean are both more individual, or at least more heady," Padalecki revealed. "They've both done things in the last four months that they're kind of worried about ... I think as we get into the meat of the season, between episodes eight and fifteen, we're really going to delve into what Sam did for those four months while Dean was gone, and the pain that he's gone through ... His brother was dead. He buried his brother, and then had to deal with it for a couple months, and deal with it however. You know, [he] probably did some things he wasn't necessarily sure about and proud of. He's definitely more hard-edged." One interesting development that both Kripke and Ackles hinted at is Dean's increasingly important role in the Supernatural mythology. "For the first time, there's a lot of story mythology centered around Dean," Kripke said. "A lot of it was about Sam and being psychic and whatever, and now there's mysteries about each of them." Ackles mentioned how exciting it is to finally have Dean play an important role in the mythology, even if he did have to die to make it happen. "I always figured Dean would come back, otherwise it's the Sam Winchester show," Ackles joked. "I didn't know how, and I didn't know why. I always figured it would be that they find a way to get me out, and that I would go back to just being Dean and trying to save Sam from whatever the demons had in store for him. But now that I've come back and I can't figure out why or how, it's really starting to play into the psyche of Dean and what he's going to go through, and how that's going to involve himself into the mythology of not just Sam, but the entire show." The Winchesters will definitely be experiencing a lot of changes as Supernatural moves into its fourth season, but Kripke hopes that fans are ready to go along for the ride. "I'll be the first to say when certain episodes or certain seasons suck, but I'm really excited about this one," he admitted. "We're giggling like schoolgirls in the writers' room. We think we're on to something this year. I think we have some really, really cool stuff in store." Source: BuddyTV.com *************** In an interview with SFUniverse.com, Kripke revealed some of the exciting adventures the Winchesters will get into in season 4. "The third episode is a completely black-and-white throwback to the Universal monster movies of the '30s, so that'll be cool," he said. "The fourth episode is a time travel episode where they go back and meet their parents when they were younger. And we just came up with this episode; Ben Edlund is writing it, it's like insane on a level that is even for us insane, where a town has a wishing well and everyone's wishes are coming true. There may or may not be a seven-foot-tall, talking teddy bear in it, we're not sure yet." Note to Kripke: Once you tease a seven-foot-tall, talking teddy bear, you have to deliver it. One creature that viewers definitely won't be seeing is a chupacabra, but only because it'd be too difficult to bring to the screen. "Dude, we can't afford a chupacabra unless the chupacabra looks like a person who says, ‘I'm a chupacabra,'" Kripke joked. "We learned really early, after the Wendigo episode, don't mount creatures you can't afford to produce. They're just gonna look stupid. Do it well or don't do it, is the plan. That's why there have been no chupacabras, that's why our werewolves have yellow eyes and fangs and are otherwise human. Every so often there's off-camera references to the chupacabra two states over and that's where'll they live." There will probably be plenty of awesome creatures viewers never get a chance to see, partially due to the budget, but also because Kripke plans to end the show after season 5. "I think no one believes me, but I really feel like that would be a favor to the fans," he said. "Better to have, ‘wow that was great and what a satisfying ending' rather than literally jumping sharks and bringing in Raven-Symone to play the cute, little, adopted orphan and weddings in Hawaii ... Never say never I guess, [but] at this point Jensen, Jared and my contracts are all up at year five, and I'd rather just go out bold." After admitting that strike-afflicted season 3 is probably his least favorite season, Kripke went on to rave about the upcoming episodes. "I think we've got a exciting season in store. We're doing what we want to do and we're doing it without compromise. I'm excited for the fans. They might say, ‘Kripke's gone total bat-sh*t and it's terrible,' but I'm entertained by it. It's something I like and so we'll see if everyone else likes it, and if not … well, go watch Grey's [Anatomy].” Supernatural season 4 kicks off on September 18. Source: BuddyTV.com ******** Episode 4.5 Sides Metamorphosis Int. Jack’s House – Dining/Living Room – Evening Jack is sitting at the dinner table, eating like there’s no tomorrow. He finishes off his steak and looks up at his wife Michelle. Michelle stars back at her husband in amused fascination. She asks if Jack is stoned, gesturing to his empty plate. Jack says its just so good, and he’s starving, then asks for dessert. Michelle exits into the kitchen to get the dessert and while she’s gone Jack notices the half-eaten steak resting on Michelle’s plate. He asks if she plans on finishing it. Michelle says that Jack’s gotta be kidding seeing as he’s already had two steaks already. Jack says he doesn’t know, all he knows is that he’s hungry. Michelle jokingly suggests that maybe Jack just has a tapeworm. Michelle watches as Jack stuffs more steak into his mouth and finishes off the bowl of mashed potatoes. Jack says that he’s never been healthier. Int. Jack’s House – Bedroom – Morning Michelle is alone in bed, sound asleep. She stirs, opening her eyes a bit and then jerks away looking more than freaked. Jack is sitting on the bed, in his boxers and shirt, just staring at Michelle. He’s a foot or two away, but its really creeping Michelle out a bit. She fusses Jack for scaring her. Jack apologizes but says the Michelle’s just so beautiful. Michelle tells him to stop, and informs Jack that she’s still pissed at him for having to drive herself to the hospital and being there until two. Jack apologizes again and Michelle asks just what happened. Jack admits that he doesn’t know, just saw the blood and got dizzy. He had to get out. Michelle says that he could’ve called seeing as she left him a dozen messages. Jack replies that his phone died and he couldn’t find a payphone. He’s really sorry and it won’t happen again. Michelle softens and says that it better not, then comments offhand that blood’s never really bothered Jack before. Jack says that he guesses he changed then. He asks how Michelle’s finger is and Michelle says that she’ll survive. Jack kisses her and Michelle smiles, and returns the kiss. Michelle stops and says that this isn’t getting Jack off the hook, but a diamond will. The couple continues to make out and Jack grins, he’s energized in a way that’s more than just the beginnings of a promising night. Michelle asks just what got into him, and Jack admits that he doesn’t know. It’s going from slow, to fast and a bit rough as Jack slides his hand up Michelle’s leg. Michelle tells him to slow down a bit and Jack tells her no and goes right back to moving up her leg. He’s fumbling with her nightgown and presses a hard kiss to Michelle’s lips. Michelle warns Jack that she means it, but Jack doesn’t stop. Michelle starts to struggle, trying to push Jack off her, but he grips her shoulders and pushes her down. Michelle’s head cracks against the headboard and she’s way past scared by this point. She cries for Jack to stop it. It finally gets through and Jack pauses, looks at her and lets her go. Michelle scrambles frantically off the bed, crying and calling Jack a son of a *****. Jack apologizes and when Michelle demands to know what the hell is wrong with him, Jack replies yet again that he doesn’t know. Jack turns away and exits the room. Int. Motel Room – Night Sam and Dean enter to find Travis, 50’s infectious grin and rumpled, making himself completely at home, beer in his good hand seeing as the other is in a plaster cast. Sam and Dean are sporting grins and Dean greets Travis saying that he told Sam they should’ve hit the beer. Travis calls Dean a smartass and Sam says its good to see him. Travis can’t believe how tall Sam’s got and ask how long’s it’s been and Sam replies at least ten years. Travis asks if Sam’s still a math-lete and Sam grimaces at the teasing, especially when Dean says that yep, Sam still is. Travis takes a second to really study Sam and Dean. He says that its been too long, and they men now. He’s almost wistful as he admits that John would be damn proud for sticking together like they did. Travis takes a drink of his beer and apologizes for being late, but thanks the boys for helping him out seeing as he’s a bit shorthanded. Travis asks if they found Jack and Sam says that they did find him at his house. Dean chimes in saying that the guy had some serious munchies and even chowed down on an uncooked burger. Travis says that Jack’s it then, Jack’s the Rugaru. Dean asks if that’s made up cause it sure sounds that way. Travis says that they are mean, nasty looking things. Fangs, gross skin, the whole she-bang. Dean says that Jack ain’t that guy cause he’s more the cell phone on his belt type. Travis warns that Jack will get ugly soon enough. Rugaru’s start out human for the most part. Sam asks if this is kind of like a metamorphosis and Travis says that yeah, that’s exactly it. Int. Motel Room- Night – Continuous Travis tells the boys that the first bit does it. The eyes, teeth, skin it all turns and there ain’t no going back. If they feed once, they’re a monster forever. He adds that Jack’s on the monster express train. Dean asks how Travis managed to find Jack in the first place if he’s a human. Travis explains that he killed Jack’s dad in ’78 after the dude managed to mangle 8 bodies. Jack’s dad used to be a dentist and have everything. Travis explains that Jack’s mom put him up for adoption and by the time he found out, the kid was gone, lost in the system. But Travis continues to say that he’s kind of thankful he lost the kid, cause he’s not sure he would’ve had the heart to hunt a kid. Despite all that, Travis is sure he’s tracked down Jack just in time. Ext. Jack’s House- Back yard- Day Jack is standing over some flower beds, garden hose in hand, but isn’t so much focusing on his task as he is starting into space. Jack hears someone call his name and turns to find Sam and Dean approaching. Sam introduces himself and Dean and Jack is bit thrown and asks if he can help the brothers. Sam says that they need to talk and Jack asks what he means by that. Sam continues and says they need to talk about Jack and how he’s changing. Jack shifts to defensive and Dean takes over saying that he’s betting Jack can feel his bones moving, his indestructible skin and the beginnings of a crazed appetite. Jack looks stunned by the brother’s correct assessment and ask just who they are, exactly. Sam says that he and Dean are there to help, if Jack will just hear them out. Ext. Jack’s Backyard – Minutes Later The group has moved to the patio, Dean and Sam sitting at the outdoor table and Jack pacing while he tries to get just what the Winchester’s are trying to tell him. Dean repeats that even though it sounds made up, it’s a Rugaru. Jack says that he’s noticed strange things but that he must just be sick or something. Sam interjects that Jack’s father was a Rugaru, his real father, and he passed it on to Jack. Jack is all prepared to tell the Winchesters they are nuts, but Dean cuts in and asks if they can just skip that part cause he knows Jack is hungry and its just gonna get worse. Jack asks just what Dean thinks he’s hungry for and Dean replies that its Longpig, Little manburger helper and it’s already crossed Jack’s mind. Sam gives Dean a chiding glance and Dean shrugs it off while Jack tries to deny the accusation. Sam tells Jack that it doesn’t have to be like this, others have fought it out. Dean adds that its not easy and its gonna be like an alcoholic wading in whiskey but if Jack doesn’t say no it’s not gonna be good. Sam agrees and explains that if Jack feeds once, its all over. And then he and Dean are going to have to stop him. Jack asks if somebody ‘stopped’ his dad, and Sam says that yeah, someone did. Jack doesn’t like the threat one bit and orders the Winchesters off of his property, warning them if he sees them again, he’s calling the cops. Sam tries to tell Jack that his wife and family are all in danger but Jack orders them gone, and NOW. Int. Jack’s House – Living Room – Night – Continuous There’s pounding on the locked closet door. Jack’s a few feet away, his transforming body and overwhelming hunger really doing a number on him. Jack says that Dean can’t come to the phone, and we discover its Sam locked in the closet freaking out because Jack’s got Dean. Jack tells Sam to calm down, and looks over to an unconscious, bleeding Dean on the floor. Sam keeps banging on the door, and Jack finally informs Sam that while Dean may be alive now, he ain’t gonna be much longer if Sam doesn’t calm down. Sam stops, and opts to try a different approach. He asks Jack to open the door and they can figure it out from there, but Jack ain’t having it. Sam’s almost reach begging, and Jack says that after what Sam did, he really isn’t going to be letting Sam out. Sam asks just what Jack is talking about and Jack says that Sam sent his friend to his house and he tried to burn his wife alive. Sam asks what and why and Jack really isn’t buying that Sam doesn’t know the answer to those questions already. Sam counters that he and Dean would never go after Jack’s wife, but Jack accuses Sam of lying. Jack is to the point of shaking now with hunger and crouches down to mop up some of Dean’s blood with his fingers and licking it off. Sam yells for Jack not to do this. Jack’s got wire hangers in the closet and ain’t that just a good deal for Sam, cause he’s taking his careful time to pick at the lock. Outside in the room, Jack scratches his head, coming back with a fistful of hair. Jack’s very emotional as he blames Sam and Dean for making to where he can’t see his family again. Sam replies that no one’s making Jack kill him. Sam stops his lock-picking for a moment, thinking before telling Jack that he knows what its like to have that dark pit inside you but it doesn’t mean that Jack has to fall into it. He can choose not to be a monster. Jack scoffs at that and asks if Sam has really seen him lately. Sam says that it doesn’t matter, its still Jack’s choice. Jack’s struggling to juggle his thoughts and his insatiable hunger and turns back to Dean. Jack can hear Dean’s heart beat and is so, so hungry. Dean begins to wake a bit, and Jack leans in, it’s getting impossible for him to resist. It seems all but over but suddenly the closet door is open and there’s Sam, picking up the flamethrower off the ground. Jack charges Sam, but Sam lets loose the fire and it catches Jack resorting him to nothing more than a curled ball on the floor as he burns to his death. Source: supernatural.tv ************* |
