Im getting to like Rubys part a lot more too.

This one was good, you right JD, very dark. Sam really went on a rampage without Dean. Thing is he still has 6 months worth of memory of it all.

I think this experience will make Sam search even harder for a way to save Dean

Well we know Dean won't die but I'm just wondering how Sam will save him.

I loved last nights episode. I'm loving Ruby more and more. The ending was freaky though with the little kid and the eyes. It always looks way scarier on kids than on grownups.

Also the episode got one of its best ratings of the season, and it didnt have Smallville as a lead in:

Also airing in the 8 p.m. hour was an “enhanced” repeat of ABC’s Lost (Viewers: #3, 5.47 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.7/ 4), which features pop-up text commentary at the bottom of the screen, two repeat episodes of NBC’s My Name is Earl (Viewers: #4, avg. 4.47 million; A18-49: #3t, 1.7/ 4) and a repeat of the CW’s Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 2.57 million; A18-49: #5, 1.0/ 3) in place of the regularly scheduled Smallville.

Rounding off the 9 p.m. hour was a repeat of CBS’ CSI (Viewers: #3, 11.92 million; A18-49: #4, 3.1/ 7), NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice (Viewers: #4, 8.03 million; A18-49: #3, 3.2/ 8) and an original installment of the CW’s Supernatural (Viewers: 3.22 million; A18-49: #5, 1.3/ 3). Supernatural rose to its second largest audience of the season, and best among adults 18-34 (1.4 rating), women 18-34 (1.4) and men 18-34 (1.4).

So the CW better renew it for a fourth season, or I'll be very pissed off

Well I hope they do pick it up for a 4th season but we all know that the CW doesn't always make the smartest decisions.

Supernatural Looks To Year Four

Sera Gamble, producer of The CW's Supernatural, told SCI FI Wire that the writers are brimming with story possibilities for the show's upcoming fourth season, which The CW recently announced.

"[Series creator and executive producer] Eric [Kripke] has some really strong ideas for how to expand the mythology next season," Gamble said in an interview. "We've been pitching ideas to each other that have [gotten] everybody really excited. ... First, we got deeply philosophical, and then we went back to 'Hey, how can we chop a bunch of people's heads off with these ideas?' [laughs]"

Gamble added that the early pickup by The CW means that the writers can set things up as the third season winds down. "We're especially excited that we heard about the pickup early enough that we can start working on what we're going to be doing at the beginning of next season now so we can thread some things in," she said.

The current third season, which was interrupted by the recently settled writers' strike, concentrated on the battle by Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) against the demon army unleashed at the end of the previous year. Meanwhile, the season is building to a resolution of Dean's dilemma: He struck a deal with a demon to trade his soul for Sam's life. He has only a year to live.

Kripke told Gamble that he has "an idea for a good turn that the mythology could take [in the middle of next season] that's related to the demon mythology that we've been building and that we concentrated on in season three," Gamble said.

The producers are thinking in terms of a five-year arc for the series, Gamble added. "There are aspects of the mythology that have always been plotted out," she said. "There's approximately a five-year plan that's been in place since the show began."

But, Gamble added, the details of the fourth season are being honed now. "Additionally, we have a list of several monsters that we've been dying to do for a long time that we're going to get a chance to do now," she said. "I call it the beer-and-popcorn episodes. They're really like meat and potatoes. Like, sit down, watch scary things, blood spatter hits the camera, and people scream and clutch each other in fear. And that's the end of your hour," she added with a laugh.

The third season will resume with new episodes, starting in late April, building to the season finale, written by Kripke, in which Dean must face the deal he struck with a demon to save Sam's life. The strike-shortened season has caused the writers to abbreviate some of the planned stories, but Dean's fate will remain front and center as the season comes to a close, Gamble said, offering a few spoilers.

"The season finale takes place on the very last day before his card gets pulled by the demon," Gamble said. "It's a fight to the finish. Several of the players that we've been watching deal with this over the course of the season will be in the episode. We said we weren't going to make it easy for them, and we've made it pretty difficult, bordering upon impossible."

Will Dean survive and elude hell's clutches? "For all you know, [in the fourth season] it's going to be Sam with a flashlight in haunted houses with a special cell phone that calls hell," Gamble said with tongue in cheek. "Everyone has a theory. Everyone will find out soon enough. They just have to wait a few more months."

I had wished it was a better episode, in fact it was the worst episode of the season. They did it blair witch style, I hate that. And it didnt advance the storyline one bit. Kinda boring, I was hoping the writers would have had a lot after there strike.

It might have been the worst show they've ever done.

Next week looks really good

some of you might not have read where kripke (creator) stated that there was going to be a stand alone show dedicated to the supernatural reality shows like "ghost hunters", "most haunted" and "paranormal state". there were to bring back the guys from "hellhound's lair"
http://www.hellhoundslair.com
and make a parody of those shows. a message was also posted over at the TAPS (ghost hunters) message board where it stated the kripke was paying tribute to the show in some way. i enjoyed it alot especially since it seemed to make more fun of the "Most haunted" show cuz they're always screaming and running away from things. not only that but it seems that part where they said "it's face time" was copying "dead time" which is a term used on "paranormal state". it seems that the show went over most people's heads if they're not viewers of those different shows. it was not using the blair witch method but the reality show method it was parodying.

i found it enjoyable and it was time to take a break from the insanity of what has been happening and what is to come. its kinda like the calm before the storm. this was just a breather and now we're really going to get into it.

the list of episodes to come

14. Long-distance caller.
a new character leila is introduced and the boys start to get calls from the dead, maybe even their dad. but is it really the dead or a demon in disguise. also dean gets info on the demon who holds the contract to his soul.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (john winchester) guest stars. (source CW)

15. Time is on my side
this episode will introduce a new hunter. sam is once more trying to save dean's soul. they also confront a demon who claims to know who holds dean's contract. this episode also goes back to the urban legends part of supernatural. it deals with people waking up missing a kidney.

16. No Quarter (season finale) ***no. already? well can't wait for season 4.
this episode takes place on the day before dean's last day and there's a huge season ending shocker involving dean himself. possibly involving hell itself. lilith makes an appearance although it seems lilith is jumping from one little girl to another.

i still can't believe the season is already going to be over.

It had some cute moments, but overall I really didn't like the episode. I hate documentary style episodes.

No, as far as I know she didn't die. They better not let her die. I actually like her.

I'm so happy this weeks episode was a regular episode and not a documentary episode again. Though it wasn't one of the best episodes. I missed the little comedy moments

Default Dean

Well just like I thought would happen Dean died on the finale. I guess he will be "dead" until the next season starts and Sam will bring him back somehow.

It's just like they did on Buffy awhile back.

I'm interested to know how they are gonna bring Dean back. Maybe he'll become a demon Ruby style. Also, I hope Ruby is not really dead. I really liked her. Can't wait till next season
