Sophia won't forgive Chad

One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush says she has no problem shooting intimate scenes with her costar Chad Michael Murray, despite the fact they are in the middle of a divorce.

"My job is my job, and my personal life is my personal life, and I keep them separate," the brunette beauty told PEOPLE. "It's my job. It's not always easy, but it's my work – it's what I love and take pride in, and I won't let that slack because of personal circumstances."

Bush, 23, made the comments Tuesday night at the "It Bags Against Breast Cancer" charity auction at Henri Bendel in New York. She was composed and forthright about the couple's split in September after five months of marriage – though she hinted that Murray's behavior was behind the breakup.

"I'm a big girl. I'm a strong girl," she told PEOPLE. "It's not that I don't respect other women in my position, but there are things I won't forgive. I have too much going on in my life to focus on."

Bush plays the character Brooke on One Tree Hill, while Murray, 24, plays her love interest Lucas. The WB show's script has required the ex-couple to cozy up to each other. An insider recently told PEOPLE: "Their story lines will be crossing as Brooke tries to get Lucas to come back to her. That will be the real test of their acting abilities."

At the time, the source said the two were "being professional and trying not to let this break between them affect their work or careers. They know that whatever's happened to them in real life has to stay home."

The couple met in 2003 while filming One Tree Hill and were engaged in 2004. They married in April at Santa Monica's Hotel Casa Del Mar.

Its good to see that they are not letting there personal problems get in the way of there work. Cuz that could have caused problems im sure. But its good to see she is so strong, and that they are not letting there problems get in the middle of there jobs.

I'm glad that Sophia is showing that she's strong and that, if Chad cheated, she is not going to run and tell every tabloid to ruin his career. She is being very mature.

ooo yea. i defiantely agree there. i love how she is being very mature. i just want to know what has really happened between them!!! it would be soo nice to know, what has really happened. but i will never really know the truth. i wonder what Chad could have done that was soo bad, but who knows. im just really sad, because now i know its for real. ugh. Chad isnt as perfect as we all once thought, but i will not stop liking him because of it. i just hope it can be a peaceful divorce, if thats what they both want. all i can really say now to both of them is good luck, because divorces and times like this are hard to deal with, but im sure they will both get past it. and lets hope they can still remain friends.

im not mad at Chad, but i am a little disappointed. because more and more everyday i get this gut feeling that he might have cheated on her. who knows. but i am really hoping he hasnt done something horrible like that. i still love Chad the same, and i still love Soph as much as i did before. its just really sad for me to hear that we thought they were all in love and the perfect couple and now well they are no longer together---within a span of 5 months. ugh soo upsetting. i just wish them the best. good luck is all i can say now!

Well i mean to be honest is it not any of our buisness what there problem is. It just the public is so darn nosy that have to know. It none of our business what happend, cuz it has nothing to do with us. I mean ya im a bit curious what happends but they i remeber that its none of my business anyway. So to be honest she should not have to tell anyone anything or explain herself at all. BUT becasue the public finds out stuff she has to have some explination. SO she has to say somthing about it or the magazines and people will just make up MORE stupid things! ya know
what i mean? And im not trying to sound mean but that way for anyone who is curious on what has happends cuz im sure we all are but all im saying is that its not really OUR place to know....ya know?

But it is also good to see that Shopia is being so mature and professonal about the whole thing, and that she is not letting it interfere with her Job as an actress.

yeah i agree. but despite what Sophia said, it must be killing her and Chad to do intimate scenes together. I mean, you get so used to being with that person, and then all of a sudden it's over, but you still have to see their face everyday and kiss them and try to make it mean nothing at all. but how could it mean nothing, when you loved that person so much not soo long ago?

its a good thing that she seperates her work from her personal life, despite everything its still going 2 be hard to face each other and film OTH, but i wish them all the best and maybe they werent meant 2 be together. although its sad but we have to face reality :(

yeah...i think its really hard for her...she trusted him and he let her down..but maybe she will forgive him if he proves how much he really love her and that he is really sorry
