Yeah Orlando's movie might have made more than Chad's but in the long run it lost money because apparently it cost 150 million to make!

wow. omg did it really. yea that is alot of money. but i dont think his Kingdon of Heaven did as well as expected. i mean most of the time only guys will go to see that type of movie, because well haha ill say it-->>its not very girlie. i mean im sure girls still went because he was in it and he is pretty gorgeous. but hahaa i dn. i mean im glad he is doing elizabethtown. finally a girlie type movie--->romantic.

oohh ill shut up now. this isnt the Orlando forum. haha sorry girls if i got off subject.

yea i dont think that house of wax made a lot of money but it doesnt matter Chad will make better movies in the future [img]smile.gif[/img] an i hate movies lik lord of the rings & kingdom of heaven cause they r just not my type of movies. i lik movies that r romantic comedy and drama and some action [img]smile.gif[/img]

well another reson that I think House of Wax didn't do as well as Kingdom of Heaven opening weekend was becuase House of Wax was ratd R in the States. at least I think it was. In Canada it was 18A and usually films in Canada are one rating less than America. Anyway, my original point was that mostly teens and young adults wanna see horror films. If it's rated R, that kinda narrows down your audience, and Orlando's wasn't restricted. I know when it came out, a lot of people wanted to see HOW, but they setteld for K of Heaven instead becuase they couldn't get in. Sooo I'm sure it will have better DVD sales since it's came out so close to Halloween.

oo yea, definately good thoughts. hahah. yea i would have never thought about it that way. i mean about the audience being restricted to only a certain type of crowd. im up for any kind of movie, especially horror. i loved loved loved Hide and Seek and i love all the Halloween movies and the chuckie movies, soo i am a pretty bigg horror fan. but i dont like those weird kind of movies. i mean those ones with like weird creatures and blood and fighting. hmm im a girlie girl, soo i would say no those are not for me.

yeah horror movies aer ok, but the only ones I like are with murderers(not to sound creepy). Like the ones with creatures and aliens and possessed kids(Exorcist), I don't like those. Something like Scream sin't exactly realistic, but it was still scary to watch when I was younger, and more eralistic than zombies and vampires.

haha yea i know what you mean. like movies that dont really have an end and they keep you wondering. i hate movies like that. but actually sara---i like the exorcist and i liked the exorcism of emily rose. i saw it like last month and i thought it was pretty good. and im a fan of the ring also. i love those movies.

ughh but today i was sad. at like 4.00ish after i got home from school i stopped at Blockbuster to rent House of Wax, but they didnt have it. i wanted to see it because i dont have school tomorrow ((friday)). they didnt have it tho. but thats a good thing, right. i mean obviously Chad's movie is doing well---or i mean people like it. it has only been out for about 3 days here and they cant even keep it on the shelves. which is good, haha but not really for mee.

i think my mom's gonna buy House of Wax for me for Christmas, so I'm kinda happy, even though Christmas is 2 months away.

And now that I think about, I did kinda like The Ring, but I still ain't a big fan of movies about spirits and demons.
