Series Switch

I'm developing a series in which I want to come out as a feature film first and then a movie. The screenplay and pilot are almost done and I want Chad to play the co-star.

My question to you guys is, do you think Chad would be willing to switch to my series if One Tree Hill is still on the air and I offer the producers to buy out his contract?

The role is an action one. Not like the Lone Ranger but a very interesting one nonetheless. Please reply, I seek your guidence.
