Well, it has been a long, long time since the nation last said good-bye to Norma Jean.

Anyway, it's one of those topics that will keep coming up here and there because people are still fascinated about her. Maybe it's because the media kept her in the spotlight all those years or because the majority age group grew up knowing about her during their formidable years. I'm in my thirties and even for myself she was someone who lived well before my time.

In terms of classic beauty/vintage starlets, she's up there in the top ten but I have my preferences on the order. Brigitte Bardot, in her prime, was quite a knockout. But I won't get into that, as this is not the thread to do so.

So have at it, Marilyn fans.
