TINKER BELL'S TIME TO SING
Giving Peter Pan's fairy a voice is the latest challenge for Brittany
By John Millar
BRITTANY MURPHY conquered her fear of flying then spread her wings to voice one of the world's favourite fairytale characters.
The glamorous 29-year-old will carve her place in movie history by starring in a cartoon film about one of Walt Disney's favourite creations, Tinker Bell.
It's the first time Peter Pan's little sidekick - whom legend has it Disney based on Marilyn Monroe - has starred in her own big budget film.
And Brittany is excited at the thought of being Tinker Bell, especially since traditionally the fairy never utters a word.
When Scots author JM Barrie's famous story was transformed in the 1953 cartoon by Disney, Tinker Bell was mute throughout.
"Doing the voice of Tinker Bell has been such a fun experience. She's one of my favourite characters of all time," said Brittany, whose journey into the world of Neverland should hit the screen next year.....
