STARLETS RULES - read these before posting! (04/08/2006)

First off read the FAQ

1. Posting nudity is not allowed
considered as nudity are:
- Breasts, Full frontal, nude backshots
- See trough, "nipslips"

2. Do not rename the pictures you post
Give credit to the people who deserve it.

3. Do not leech pictures from other peoples websites
- Direct linking to a picture on someones website is stealing the bandwith the webmaster has payed for!
- Therefor do not link to the pics posted here on other boards/sites.
- what to do: Save the pics and upload them to some webspace you own (eg. your isp's). If you do not have such space, just ask and someone will help you

4. Do not post copyrighted/tagged images
examples: pics from wireimage.com, ezuma.com, rexfeatures.com, ... (images from Maxim, FHM, ... are allowed)

5. Think about the smallband users
Not everybody has a broadband connection so watch the image sizes of the pics you post.
In general we post one big picture or several smaller pictures and the rest we post as links/thumbnails.

6. Do not spam
Spammers will be reported and they will receive a warning, if the spamming continous he will lose his postcount, and if this doesn't help he'll be banned from the forums! If you want to add something else after you posted just use the edit button.

7. Use the existing threads
If you're gonna post pics of a starlet look her up in the Alphabet List so you don't create a new thread for her.

8. 5 Post interval
This basically means no pics should be posted until there's 5 posts between the last pics. If there's plenty of pics of a certain starlet then fewer posts inbetween are ok, just as long as you don't post back to back. Also remember to ask whoever is providing the pics in that thread if it's ok for you to post the next couple of pics.

NOTE: The moderators/administrators are here to keep these forums in order.
If you see your post edited or deleted, don't question the moderator/administrator, this means you didn't follow the rules!

As to the rules.. I could say it all goes under "do not spam" just like replying with just a smiley is spam. Posting over your own posts is spam. Posting multiple topics about the same topic is spam. Posting over yourself for the sake of posting to other people's replies are spam.

I don't want anyone to feel that I'm jumping down their back, I am simply trying to get things in order so when I eventually turn my back, I won't have to worry about quickly twisting around to see if the place is a mess. [Razz]

Now.. reasons why I don't like overloading. Just to help people understand and know why i'm frustrated.

A. It causes people to run out of pics very very fast. Imagine a cool starlet like Kari Wuhrer getting posted and all of a sudden at 4 posts the guy says Oops I'm out. You see all those pics and now you can't even comment about her. Maybe 2 or 3 people say something and now that thread is left in obscurity. Page 5.

B. When you overload a thread a lot of pics get posted in a short period of time. While this is good, it also can be a double edged sword. You don't notice some of the pics. While I understand the 10 interval is a bit too much, I only said 10 interval because for myself I know I wouldn't be able to come back often to update. If you are able to, I don't mind the interval being shorter.. as long as you give some air between the pics posts. This way people can say what they like or give some trivia.

C. I want each Topic of a celeb to be sort of like a mini forum for that celeb. This was the goal and intention as to why I wanted it all to remain in one topic. It is easier for people to update to and it is a lot better contained in a forum that is as you might have noticed, kinda active.
