Well it's the media isn't it? Two women kissing, so it must be a lesbian kiss. If they played lesbians or bisexuals then yeah okay you could say that it was a lesbian kiss. But it's all to get interest in the trailer. Having "Scarlett & Penelope share lesbian kiss" is going to appeal to a certain demographic, and will generate lots of hits on that site. As opposed to saying "Scarlett and Penelope in new Woody Allen film".

you´re totally right andrew. people would watch it a lot more when it says it´s a lesbian kissing scenes as if they would just say, Scarlett and Cruz are kissing in the movie

Demands Cost Scarlett Johansson Cannes Praise

Penelope Cruz shines instead...

Scarlett Johansson’s excessive demands have meant she’s missed out on outstanding praise for her new film at the Cannes Film Festival.
New Woody Allen film 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' received a ten minute standing ovation after it’s screening last night, but Scarlett had not flown in from the US to attend after the movie’s producers balked at her excessive demands.
Scarlett reportedly had problems with the choice of hotel, and also wanted her own 5,000 euros a day make-up artist rather than share with fellow stars Penelope Cruz and Rebecca Hall.
A source tells the Mail On Sunday, “Nobody cared she wasn't there. The movie belonged to Penelope and Rebecca anyway with great help from Javier (Bardem).”
A executive connected to the film also told the paper, “I think, while Woody's terribly fond of Scarlett, he was a little upset that she wasn't being a team player,” but added, “That said, she has agreed to support the movie back in America and we're all delighted about that.”

this wouldnt make sense, i mean, woody allen's films always have a low budget, javier bardem was only payed 6000 euros for making this film, and she would come now with diva demands?¿ i hope this isnt true, somewhere else i read that it was because of schedule conflicts.
