No car chases, no explosions, no gun fights, if it is true to the novel there will be some sexual scenes but most of the book deals with the manuvering of the Boleyn family to gain status and wealth. Moving it to a dead time of the year may prove to be a smart move and as far as awards go, there is always 2008. |

I bet those stomachers were not very comfortable, hence the frown on both Scarlett's and Natalie's faces. BTW, Scarlett portrays Mary Boleyn who bears a couple of illegitimate children Henry VIII. Ann (Natalie) on the other hand gets to marry Henry and bears a daughter who becomes one of the greatest queen of England - Elizabeth I, but looses her head in the end. |

Maybe this is the reason the film has been pushed back: The world-famous landmark will be used as a location for a "major sequence" in The Other Boleyn Girl, starring Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Kirsten Scott Thomas. Producers contacted by the News refused to confirm which actors will be on set for filming, which is expected to commence on August 28 for three days. But they said they will be working on an important sequence for the film Full Story: http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news...34d49dcf03.lpf Last edited by Bill5461 : 08-16-2007 at 02:16 PM. |
