i watched it yesterday and i absolutely adooored it! i mean, we already know what will happen but the film keeps you attached to it and guessing what would happen next, its really really entertaining and the two girls give amazing performances, scarlett was especially brilliant because she havent done a character like this one before and pulled it so very well... she should keep doing movies like this one, i dont mean period dramas, just serious and interesting roles because the nanny diaries? come on, she can do better and she proved it for me with this film one more time.

Glad you guys liked it overall. It will be interesting to see the weekend box office numbers. I'm not expecting anything close to a blockbuster here but I'm hoping for at least Top 5.

At the Friday matinee I attended I estimated that there were around 40-50 people almost all female. If that momentum is maintained through the prime showing times, the film should make a decent return.

If you guys could keep an eye out..Saturday night live did a parody of this last night. I came in close to the end of it. I searched this morning with no luck

I taped it for Ellen Page. The segment paroding "The Other Boleyn Girl" began with Anne and Henry. They were interrupted by Mary. Anne and Mary then exchanged sharp words. Henry then remarked that this must be the other Boleyn girl but was interrupted by a third "Boleyn girl" and then a fourth. The third was quite ugly and the fourth was the African-American guy in the cast.

A few co-workers and I are planning to go see it next week (hopefully we do). I am really excited to see it. I'm slowly making my way through the book, it's not too bad.

Scarlett Johansson was distracted during the filming of her new movie The Other Boleyn Girl - because she couldn’t stop staring at her male co-stars’ nether regions.
The Hollywood star said she was amazed at how big the codpieces were under their tight costumes.
“At first I was so distracted, I had never worked on a film that had used codpieces and now in the modern productions I request them,” she joked.

The young (male) American tourists nearly had a fit when they saw Henry's codpiece in the Tower of London exhibition... they were very funny.
