A body that only exists with the aid of air-brushing and other camera trickery. (And yes I appreciate it's getting to be similar for men too). |

Think about it, do you really want your idol (be it male or female) to be ordinary. No, celebrities need to be bigger and more perfect than real life. That is what distinguishes then from the hordes and maintains the mystic of the celebrity. P.S. I saw Scarlett's appearance on Letterman (see Bill's screen captures below). It went to general release in January, 2006 although it saw limited release in November, 2005 in the US to make it elgible for Oscar consideration that year. The DVD was released in July. Six months is the norm. Unfortunately the DVD has no extras on it. |
