| (L) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ive found some quotes of scarlett that i have never read before: On her first love: “Fourteen. I fell in love with him. You go through puberty and feel like there’s nobody in the world who’s ever going to understand you. Then you meet this other person and you’re connecting with them and exploring things you’ve never explored before. You never have that again. There’s a codependence in having a boyfriend at 14. [You feel like] “I’m gonna marry you and have your children!” It was a lovely relationship and we’re still friends, but I don’t ever want to feel that codependent again.” On her cat Trooper: “Trooper’s a kitten actually. I didn’t want to miss any part of his growing up. I figured by the time I got back from this shoot, two months later, he’d be a big fat monster. I might as well watch him turn into one!” But carrying Trooper on set was more of a necessity for Scarlett, than merely her love for the cat, she reveals, “Without his company, I’d have a nervous breakdown. We’re in the middle of nowhere. It’s so nice to come home and have this fluffy warm thing purring and rubbing our leg.” It has not just been her pet cat Trooper, Scarlett Johansson also had a Chihuahua, called Maggie and a Japanese fighting fish that she named Cassius She reveals she was really attached to Cassius and he had become her good friend.. “I got a fish, because I was lonely there (at the home in chateau Marmont). He was a Japanese fighting fish named Cassius. I cleaned his water every three days, but somebody took care of him for a week and they let his water get dirty. He got a skin disease and died. I was mortified. I dug a giant hole in the garden at the Chateau Marmont and buried him. I know it was just a fish, but somehow he became a good friend of mine,” she recalls. She also fondly talks about her Chihuahua, Maggie, “She’s this little bitty thing. The first three days, she didn’t make a sound. Then the fourth day, she started barking incessantly. It was irritating, so I taught her not to bark. You spray them in the butt with a water bottle. It doesn’t hurt.” On Michael Caine, co-star in 'The Prestige': “Michael Caine is my wonderful lunch buddy. I have to say I had my lunch with him everyday. I couldn’t ask for a more handsome and fabulous co-star.” Last edited by Nola; 11-23-2007 at 05:53 AM.. |

According to a Los Angeles Times report, “Scarlett recently toured India and Sri Lanka for 10 days with Oxfam. She’s due to visit Africa in February with the international relief foundation devoted to ending poverty and injustice.” Scarlett joins the likes of Natalie Portman, Dakota Fanning and Angelina Jolie - all of whom have traveled the world to help those in need. ![]() |

Who hasn't felt its pleasurably painful pangs? And who better to communicate those feelings in MySpace-style "melodramatic popular song" than teenagers? No one, that's who, and that's where London/Paris trio the Teenagers come in.The band's newest single, a follow-up to this year's "Homecoming", is "Starlett Johansson". It's a paean to indie heartthrob/Tom Waits interpreter Scarlett Johansson, and who's to say that when she's done hanging out with Bob Dylan, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, David Sitek, and Justin Timberlake, these three couldn't be next? Okay, so it's unlikely the Teenagers will get any alone time with the actress, but at least the rest of us can join the fantasy on December 4, when XL releases the single. Currently, the Teenagers are recording with producer Gordon Raphael (the Strokes), and they have a couple shows in the UK to close out the year. Then next year, they'll head over to North America for a tour in January/February. |

Pop star Christina Aguilera was to act in the movie but had to pull out due to pregnancy, contactmusic.com reports. Carmen said: 'Christina was interested in playing the part and is a born pin-up girl at heart. She became pregnant, however, and the script is now in the hands of Scarlett Johansson's agent and Kate Bosworth's agent. Either one of these girls have the talent to pull it off.' The movie is based on her son Brandon James' biography 'The Wild, Wild Life of Jeanne Carmen'. Well, at least it's not a porn star this time! |

The buxom blonde has angrily hit back at reports that she is the latest Hollywood A-Lister to go under the knife. Us magazine ran a report in their December issue, quoting the 23-year-old as saying "I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don't want to be an old hag. There's no fun in that." However Scarlett – who has previously been praised for her healthy body image – has forcefully denied she has had any work done. "I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image” the Lost in Translation star said in a statement “I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. "Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against Us Weekly." Her spokesperson added: “There simply is no truth to the story." Johansson - who is dating Van Wilder star Ryan Reynolds - has just wrapped up two projects, He's Just Not That Into You, co-starring Jennifer Aniston, and the Woody Allen's latest flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
