"I had thought about doing a cotton line for a while and then was coincidentally approached by Reebok to do a casual lifestyle collection," she told Entertainment Tonight, wearing a blue sweat top with pretty heart cutouts in back and black leggings. "It seemed like the perfect combination." Perfect fit "Scarlett embodies the pulse points of our brand--individuality, authenticity and a life lived to the fullest in perpetual motion," Paul Harrington, president and CEO of Reebok, said in a press release. "These characteristics make her the perfect fit for our new women's footwear and apparel collection and also for our exciting new women's campaign." Described on Reebok websites, Scarlett "Hearts" Rbk features an inspirational apparel and footwear collection of retro sport-inspired apparel and sophisticated detailing and unexpected twists all influenced by the decade in which Johansson grew up. In other words, "Hearts" is the '80s redux -- the decade that launched aerobics headbands, off-the-shoulder draped tops and scrunchy socks. The apparel collection, says Rbk press releases, features sexy, sport-inspired silhouettes that fuse glamorous style with the utmost in comfort. Hooded tunics, track jackets, baseball tees, racer tanks, leggings, and off-shoulder sweatshirts. The apparel has Johansson's signature metallic embroidered "Hearts" logos, multi-colour "Hearts" satin linings, printed "Hearts" satin drawcords, and intricate designs in a palette of colours like citron, vivid blue, bright red, teal and pink. The footwear line is a modern interpretation of Reebok's first running shoe, the Aztec. Debuting in 1979, the Aztec was the premiere running shoe on the market. Today, the Retro Aztec has been re-invented back to its high-end status especially for Scarlett to become a true modern classic, exuding authenticity with an individualistic twist.
