How time flies..Scarlett's next movie is out !
Here's a little bit about it:

Scarlett Johansson to star as the female lead in Chris Nolan's film "The Prestige" for Touchstone. The actress joins Hugh Jackman, David Bowie and Christian Bale in the film. Story, which begins in 1878, follows the rivalry between two stage magicians who battle one another for trade secrets. The rivalry turns them both into murderers. Jonathan Nolan adapted the screenplay from the novel by Christopher Priest.

I just saw an add for this, thought it was odd for two period peices about about magicians to be releases so close together. It looks pretty good though, thanks for the caps and info Bill

I was thinking it is kind of cool to think that it is kind of like Batman v. Wolverine. Who are you looking most foward to in the cast? I'm going to have to go with Bowie, no contest.

According to IMDb, both The Prestige and Marie Antoinette directed by Sopia Coppola with Kirsten Dunst as Marie will be released on October 20th although the former's release is listed as limited. Both films are high on my "to see" list. It would be a hard decission if both opened locally on the same weekend.and I only had time to see one.

I'm not a big fan of period pieces, however The Prestige looks really good. I'm hoping it does really well.

appearantly this movie is based on a book with the same title.

After checking all the late night show lineups for this week, It looks like they're leaving the promotion for this to the men. With Scarlett filming in England I didn't think she'd be available anyway

That's too bad because Kirsten Dunst is on Conan O'Brien on the 18th undoubtedly to promote Marie Antoinette.
