Wife Jaime Bergman delivered the couple’s second child, daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz, on Monday, August 31st, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. Baby Bardot weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz and joins big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home. The birth comes as a relief to Bones star David, who had been staying close to home in case Jaime, who had been on bed-rest, went into labor. “I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that,” the former Angel star, 40, told PEOPLE recently. “If I do, I’ll freak out — I have to be there when the baby comes.” Now that Bardot has arrived, the couple can breathe easy. “We’ve been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited,” Bergman, 33, recently told PEOPLE’s Celebrity Baby Blog. “We’re over the moon.” David and Jaime announced the pregnancy in March, revealing the sex of the baby in July. Jaime’s due date was today. |

| Newbie | Congrats to them! The name is quite unfortunate though, especially if they named her after Brigette Bardot. Bardot has been prosecuted and fined at least five times for inciting racial hatred against Muslims in France with some of the xenophobic (bordering on racist) comments she has made there. The French aren't very fond of her anymore...or at least the young people aren't because that's what she's most known for now. She's a liiiittle bit crazy. |

And what's up with celebrities and baby names. It must not be easy to have celebrity parents and many have weird names also. |

You know, naming your kids after mom, dad, yourself, uncles, aunts. It would give them a sense of family, connecting with their past. Technically, I'm Edward IV, and my middle name is in honor of my Uncle James who was KIA in WW2: connective tissue to my past. A lot of these kids with these clever names are going to have some very unpleasant times in the schoolyard: they're going to wind-up hating their own names and resenting their parents for saddling them with such monikers. (Ren'ee!! Welcome back!!) Last edited by eadweard; 09-03-2009 at 12:29 AM.. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was named after a child star here in Mexico (she's now one of the biggest young celebrities in here, she was part of the most popular pop ''band'' in the past few years in Mexico). My mom thought ''Wow! That girl is really cute, when I have a baby I'll name her Anahi'', and now I have to live with the question: x: Anahi?...like that girl from - me: YES! don't say it! ![]() |

On the other hand, not all family names are that great: my paternal grandmother's name was Gertrude and my maternal grandfather's name was Lemuel (although I do have a cousin who is Lemuel IV; grandpa was the II)!
