OT: Freddie Prinze Jr. joins '24'

Freddie Prinze Jr. as Jack Bauer Jr.?

Sources said Prinze is joining the cast of Fox's "24" as a regular, playing Davis Cole, a recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops and wants to follow in Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) footsteps.

On the real-time drama, whose upcoming eighth season started production Wednesday, Prinze joins fellow new cast additions Anil Kapoor, who plays a Middle East leader; Chris Diamantopoulos, as the president's new chief of staff; and John Boyd as a CTU systems analyst. All of them are regulars, while Jennifer Westfeldt has come aboard as a recurring, playing a a journalist.

Also cast as a recurring on the 20th TV/Imagine series is Nazneen Contractor as Kapoor's daughter.

Prinze, repped by ICM and Brillstein, recently co-starred on the ABC comedy pilot "No Heroics."

There was a comment about No Heroics before. One of the insider has told that the show doesn't look hopeful. Hopefully ''24'' will be better for Freddie. Isn't 24 Sarah's one of favorite TV Shows?

Maybe more pics from NY Apollo because, if I remember correctly, season 8 of 24 is set in NY. They might shoot the outdoors scenes in NY before going back to LA for the indoor scenes.

Sarah may spend the summer in NY with him and go back to LA, if she gave birth there, just before it is still safe for her to fly.

It may be an indication that TWM will be shot in LA if it is picked up.

Good call there toto. Probably a week or so of NYC outdoor (think that's what they did in DC last year)

kinda off topic but i wasnt sure were to post... does anyone know where i can find the clips of sarah and freddie at the hairspray premier in london, i think there are 2, one for sure of freddie arriving and kissing sarah on the cheek, but i cant find any of them at all...any help would be great!!
