Trouble on set in Buffy season 6 - Page 2

I was just reading the newest copy of "Bite Me" and they mentioned that it was common knowledge on the set that Season 7 was the last one. It said Nicholas Brendan had been saying it was the last for some time. The book said that Joss had left it up to Sarah to announce. It also said the Joss and Sarah were basically burned out and needed a rest.

Thanks fior the info here Pat. I guess they all knew it being the last, as whatelse could they have covered in the series apart from what they did with the First and the Potentials. Why was it left to Sarah to announce it I wonder?

The author didn't mention that, but I would guess they figured the end of "Buffy" should come from Buffy herself.

True, but the creator should have been there as well.
