Daphne Blake thought that a good idea for Sarah's birthday would be to make a donation in her name to CARE (http://www.care.org). As those of you who already donated to CARE know, there is an option to make a donation in someone else's name in the form and it would be a perfect opportunity to put it to good use.

So, with the permission from Hostess to advertise here, we're suggesting that as fans, we wish Sarah a Happy 31st Birthday by making a collective donation to her favorite charity Let's try to make it a big donation too!!

I'll be keeping track of the amount collected, keep everyone updated, and make the donation from my account on April 14th. I will post the receipt so that everyone can see that their money did go to CARE.

If you'd like to participate, please use paypal and the following email address: eleagold@yahoo.com
Please include your screenname, it'll be easier for me to keep track.

Please, feel free to spread the word to the other Sarah communities out there. It's for a good cause!

Plan to contribute somehow. New puter made me poor this month. Might put some SMG related stuff on Ebay and use proceeds...

I usually donate to CARE as well..they left message on answering machine today lol

The closing date will be eithe April 13th at night or April 14th in the morning. I have to figure out what works best with taking all time zones in consideration haha

On another note, it has come to my attention that because we chose to use Paypal, Care will not be able to issue individual tax receipts. This concerns US residents. The global tax receipt will not be used by anyone. If you are planning on participating to the project and really want a tax receipt for your donation, or for any questions about this, please contact me at eleagold@yahoo.com
