Hmmm. I'm tempted! But I have the possibility of nearly all my favourite famous ladies on my birthday. Well on dvd anyway! I don't think I'd survive if they all appeared in person!

It was quiet at work yesterday so I slipped SG into the DVD player in the lounge and before you know it I had an audience. Three people went on-line and ordered it as they really liked what they were seeing.

The front cover's the same, Andy. When you open it there's a nice pic of Brett and her best friend walking with the NYC skyline behind them, but it's built into the plastic and not scanable. I thought there might be more special features, but, alas, no. Just the director's commentary and the trailer.

For some unknown reason it has now being pushed back to May 26th

I just watched SG with the Director's Narration. He was a first time director and spends a lot of time advising other new directors. He did have some very nice things to say about Sarah and Alec's acting. He also learned the hard way about shooting a scene in downtown NYC and the paps (100 of them) trying to get shots of Sarah!

Forgot to mention this about the paps:

It was the scene where Brett and her friend are on the street looking at books. Sarah was wearing a light purple dress. The director mentioned Sarah's following from "Buffy" and said that Sarah warned him that might happen. He called it "absolute chaos" and there were hundreds of people watching. He said the paps had no respect and would run into the background of his shot trying to take a picture.
