Just gossip right now so don't get too excited! ![]() http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristi...0-cded07be7085 "Here's a little news to make you fellow Buffy fans squeal. Sources close to the lovely Sarah Michelle Gellar tell me she's become somewhat disenchanted with the movie scripts she's been receiving, so she's considering...wait for it...coming back to television. Boo. Freaking. Ya. Word is, Sarah's been looking at various TV scripts and weighing her options. And you know what that means, my friends? With any luck, when the strike ends, we could have Joss Whedon and Sarah Michelle Gellar both back in our lovely small-screen world! Wonder if she's asked Joss to send her the treatment for Dollhouse? Yeah...probably not. That'd be far too good to be true. But still, here's hoping we get to see Gellar in our living rooms again sometime soon!" |

| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for the link. I don't think returning to TV means the end of her movie career. It might jump start it *crosses fingers* During Buffy she went for the teen fare (as she was of that age), but now that she's older, more visability may mean better projects. I don't think Katherine Heigl would have gotten Knocked up if she wasn't on Grey's, etc |

| Newbie | First let me say hello, all! Some may know me, most may not and some might wish they didn't, but hi. I think the article is crap. As spdub said in the other thread, Kristin is notorious for being wrong. Also unless my memory is failing she never had too many kind words to say about SMG back during Buffy/AtS so why she sounds like she likes her all of a sudden is strange and it doesn't lend too much credibility to the piece. It comes off as more a passive/aggressive dig to me. Sarah doesn't go into the spotlight very much so even if she did go back to TV I don't think it would do much for her movie career. The woman, God love her, has taken 3 very extended absences from filming and public exposure since Buffy ended. It doesn't really sound like someone who is frantic about it. She has her charity, her friends events and sometimes she promotes a movie, just not any of the last 3. I just don't think BIG roles and being a famous is all that important to her. |

I'm hearing some buzz that she might be considering doing a new Darren Star project. SJP and now SMG? Yes, please! http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristi...id=fd-hot3-txt |
