According to IMDB Sarah has a new animated film due out in 2009 the film is called

Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey and she plays "Ranger"

Hmmm. *scratches head and chin* Now isn't this the animated film that Sarah did with Freddie a few years ago? Well it's been renamed from 2004: A Light Knight's Odyssey which was in production for a few years. Thanks for the info bbmas, looks like it may be going into production afterall.

I think it's an animated film about the exploration of space. I know Sarah's voice is used for the Ranger unmanned space craft. Here's an overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_8

Another new film listed on Wikipedia - "Barbarella". What is this? It refers to Alice, but this is expected to come out 2 years after Alice...but then its not mentioned on the Alice page... any ideas?

BARBARELLA was a flick based on a French comic, made back in the 60s with Jane Fonda. Very surreal, very skimpy outfits, a lot of sexual innuendo...actually, it doesn't sound like something Sarah would do. It would be an exciting project, but a complete surprise if she did do it: nudity would be an absolute requisite, if she plays the title character.

ok....interesting....that would be a departure....but maybe she enjoyed her recent role as a porn star and wants to go ahead and do this stuff now, pre-kids... the maxim article sure does seem to suggest that she has changed to become more wild...

Well, I've been searching for any article to explain Sarah's involvement in the Barbarella film, and in that time, someone has removed the movie title from Wikipedia...so....I apologize for creating any confusion. I just saw it and was excited at the possibility of a new role...

Some say it's an educational movie, others a Scientology flick, many say it doesn't exist at all. I know there are titles on IMDb that people fool with - adding characters names on and off. There is a "what the heck is this" thread on this movie going back to early 2003

Apollo, we were talking about Barbarella. The Light Knight thing is something that Sarah has actually done. And I don't know if I should be happy or sad that Sarah won't be involved in a remake of Barbarella.

I'm sure Pat's working on it right now. But Sarah as Barbarella? I thought it was going to be Rose McGowan as she's going out with Rober Rodriguez who's directing the remake. But the wikipedia thing's probably to get us all flustered over nothing.
