Tidbit from E! Online - The Awful Truth

Bustin' Out!
Two mouth-worthy movies are out soon. One’s Ridley Scott’s American Gangster with Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington. The other’s Southland Tales, an apocalyptic farce starring Seann William Scott, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Justin Timberlake, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mandy Moore and just about every other freeze-dried star in the City of Fallen Comebacks.
Both flicks are noteworthy for very diff reasons—the latter film mainly so because the onetime small-screen idol Gellar turns in a brilliantly sardonic performance as a clueless porn princess who loves to “get f--ked hard,” as she puts it, but who nonetheless refuses to “do anal.” Very ladylike she is. Will Buffy fans scream in shock? Hilarious stuff, and Scott’s primo, per usual; Timberlake, as an Iraq-blown soldier, is chillingly on target. Can’t say the same for Moore. What the ef’s goin’ on with her career, already?

"Yesterday, one of your Vulture editors stepped away from his computer for the first time in months to take in a screening of Southland Tales, Richard Kelly's new film starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Seann William Scott, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, plus Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake, and like fourteen former cast members from Saturday Night Live (see our one-sentence review here!). When we arrived at the screening room, located on the third floor of the storied Times Square Planet Hollywood, a helpful publicist handed us a stapled packet of press notes. Though our copy seems to be missing the page that explains what, exactly, the movie is about, it did make for an amusing subway ride back to Vulture HQ, as we counted the number of times the notes tried to remind us that, whatever we thought of the movie, it was important to remember that the whole thing was Richard Kelly's idea, and the blame for Southland Tales falls squarely on him (and no one else)."

The premiere was tonight! There are images on Getty. I'm sure Apollo or Droopy will have them out soon! I heard the Michelle Tractenberg was there.

"Sarah Michelle Gellar brings a quirky ferocity to her porn star character, and I would argue she gives the best performance of the film. It could have been just a ditsy idiot, yet it never is. There is depth to Krysta that is always shining through."
