Buffy's now too much associated with Sarah. It's not like Doctor Who or James Bond where you can have a new actor in the role. Sarah is Buffy, much like Carrie Fisher's Princess Leia, or Gillian Anderson's Dana Scully. You can't envison someone else in the role. And it wouldn't feel right either. It's still odd watching Kirsty Swanson as Buffy. Sarah's made the role her own. |
