New Look.

No this isn't about Sarah (sadly), but this forum. What do you think of the new look? I kinda like it, if it's a contrast to the last forum. What is everyone else's thoughts? I wonder if we can have our pic for the forum up now?

Not that thrilled, personally. Not much contrast between light blue and dark blue...But it's a done deal apparently, so my desires fall on deaf ears. Maybe somebody might be kind enough next time to ask for a little input before such arbitrary measures are taken. Change for the sake of change isn't change, it's boredom.

I like the new style better than the old one. It's not that I didn't like the black, but that combination black/light gray/dark red made the whole place seem so unfriendly.

I noticed there is a dropdown at the bottom of the page where you can switch back to the "old style" (or Chad Michael Murray?)

I've changed back to the old style too. It's easier to see which heading applies to which post.

EXACTLY, little t! Also, easier to tell at a glance which posts you have/haven't read. It seems, at least on my machine, the blues were virtually indistinguishable; with red, there is a definite diff between dark (unread) and light (read).

Of course, when you say "this one" keep in mind some of us are looking at the red/black/grey one.

You're right there Pat. Ed, yeah I think we'll confuse people with this look and that look, when we're talking about the new version and the former, black version.

Ok....so it was just me or did anybody else have problems accessing this board with the new style ?...

....it was normal for a few days and then my Pc started to show a message saying that the page had to be closed everytime I was at this board..

...Then I changed it back to the old style and I didnt get the stupid message anymore.....Weird...

It happened to me until I changed back. Oh, I was born on Long Island, NY, and have proudly been a damnyankee my entire life. Personally, I think they should have hung Lee for treason and banned that rag of a flag for eternity.

Damned Yankee myself, Ed! Born in Ohio. I lived on Long Island in the 50's with my dad. He was stationed there at a place called Mitchell Field.
