the buffy drinking game

i just caught sight of an old sarah article. Only a small clip and when asked about her "sporting life" she replied she is a fan of the buffy drinking game. She said the rule is

People take a shot of alcohol everytime they see her bra strap on buffy. she said,
"People usually get plastered" then goes onto say "But would you rather me fight the vampires without a bra on?" to which the interviewer replys
"Hey-we were told there would be no trick questions on this test"

Sounds like something we should all try.

There were all these circumstances when you were suppossed to take a shot: Giles cleans his glasses, Buffy stakes a vamp, Angel vamps out, Cordy puts down Xander, Willow uses her computer...There was a site, somewhere, that had the rules - one variation of them, anyway - anybody know where it is?

They talked about this on a Leno interview that I posted a few weeks ago. I went to look at it again and it said it had been pulled due to a conflict with NBC. Basically - Leno asked Sarah about the game and she mentioned the take a shot if you see Buffy's bra strap and he looked at her very alluring gold dress and she told him she wasn't wearing one! Jay promptly took an extra long swig from his mug!

I think the idea originated on college campuses. I don't drink so I'd have to use pop!

I don't think I've ever heard of the "Buffy drinking game". I'd try it except that I don't drink alcohol. Maybe I'll substitute it for something else.

Not if you have a hangover, sailing into a North Atlantic gale, above the Arctic Circle, and the 85000 ton carrier you're on is rolling 10 degrees to port and starboard - rapidly! At least everyone is walking like a drunken sailor then.

Lol! I think the game was more suited to the first few seasons. I seem to rememeber less bra straps being seen in later series...
