I found the info at gellarfan board (obsessedw/sarah ). If the link doesn't work search at getty footage smg. It is from Teen Choice Awards 2001.

Nice , I just didnt like Buffy's future...."grieved for Angel"...come on ! he didnt die !!!...also there werent Spike mentions !!!! YAY !!!!

I wondered about that "grieved for Angel" bit. Were they trying to convey that Angel had died or that she grieved because they couldn't be together? The end of "Angel" with the battle in the alley never really left us with much hope for any of them surviving. I would have used scenes from "Bones" and said Angel was still fighting evil as a private eye. I could see the others as members of the Watchers Council, but I doubt Buffy would ever take that type of role. She's still THE Slayer despite all the others around the world.

I know in the novel "Queen of the Slayers" (which picked up at the end of season seven and explained what had been hinted at in "Angel" where Angel and Spike went to Italy) it was a definite that nobody survived the battle in the alley.
