they don't take orders. which is bad. but the real owner is hardly ever there and he's the one to talk too. but he's a cheapskate and a conman when it comes to buying and selling comic books. and of all things this is the only big comic store where i live. they practically have everything except buffy. you can still find old buffy comics in the past issues boxes, but nothing new. also i've stopped ordering online due to some problems i've had in the past. i don't trust online buying anymore. either way just downloading them and reading them makes me happy enough. i can always print them out too.

I'll have to check them out as this will probably be the only way to get "new" Buffy. Shame everyone didn't want to do a movie. From what I remember reading, SMG was done with Buffy and had no interest in a movie. Was there ever a reason given why she didn't provide Buffy's voice for the two console games?

To my memory she was unavailable because of shooting on Scooby Doo for one of them - not sure about the other though. Alyson didn't do the voiuce for Chaos Bleeds either because she was busy I think. Anyone else got a more precise answer? lol

Oh and trivia - the woman who did Buffy's voice in Chaos Bleed's also provided Anya's voice in the game.

In addition, neither Sarah nor David were willing to voice their characters for the Buffy animated series. I think both wanted to move on with their careers, and you can't blame them. Together they gave us 12 years of wonder. I simply can't fault Sarah, or David, for might-have-beens.

I find it so hard to picture David Boreanaz as anyone other than Angel. While he can be funny, he really has that dark and sexy quality that makes him play a great vampire.

It's funny, even though I am a Spuffy, I still can't get over Bangel. The main reason I stopped believing in B/A was because I didn't like the way that Angel was acting on his show. I couldn't stand seeing him get all moon eyes and close with Cordelia or Nina. And then he goes and calls what he had with Buffy "a forever love".

Angel couldn't go into the sunlight. But then Buffy gave him the Gem of Amara (which allows vamps to walk in daylight and to be invicible). He decided to destroy the ring.

When Angel had sex with Buffy he lost his soul. It was too hard for him to be around her and not be "with' her. And he didn't think it was fair to have her remain chaste, having only done it once, for him. Except that on his show he has had sex with Darla, Eve, and Nina. And probably would have with Cordy if Connor and Skip hadn't intervened.

Vampires can't have children. Angel told Buffy this. And yet somehow he ends up having a human son with the vampire Darla.

Either he did not attain such a moment with the other women OR having lost his soul and then regaining it, the curse no longer works. As for Connor, vamps have been having sex for centuries with each other and mortals, yet no children have issued forth. The birth of Connor has to have been a contrivance of the PTB...or simply a TV plot-twist dreamed up by Joss (the true PTB) to further his vision.

Many fans (including me) came up with this far fetched but interesting idea a few years ago. It never made sense to me that Angel and Darla could procreate. They were both vampires and very undead. It got me thinking. In the season 1 crossover episode of Angel "I will remember you", Angel's blood mixed with that of a Moira Demon and he became human. He had sex (you know it was unprotected since they didn't plan on doing it) with Buffy for hours--until she was "spent" and "plesantly numb". When Angel went to see the Oracles to change back due to his inability to fight demons as a human/protect Buffy, the male oracle said "What is done cannot be undone". What if he was talking about Buffy being pregnant? They could not revert time if it meant uncreating a person (Connor). However, the female oracle said "What is not yet done can be avoided". She could have meant that they could delay Connor's arrival into the world. They could have kept his soul/fetus body frozen in another realm until the right time appeared. They probably figured that Angel wouldn't be having sex again until he shanshued and that it would be with Buffy. Unfortunately, he did it with Darla while still a vampire. Darla became a serrogate mother. If you are wondering why Connor had special slayer-type abilities but Robin Wood didn't I have thought about that too. Maybe Nikki Wood (Robin's slayer mother) gave birth to him while she was an SIT (slayer in training), before she became the slayer. Therefore, he wouldn't have any powers. Slayers seldom live long and Robin was already four years old when Spike killed Niki in the seventies. Even though she seemed like a great slayer I doubt she was the slayer for five years or longer.

Thanks for your observations. I never really watched "Angel" unless I knew Sarah was going to be on and I never did get the idea of Conner. This helps explain that.

I always thought Robin Wood was normal because he was a guy and Slayers were always girls.
