No idea is this was posted before as although I'm a fan of Sarah's I'm afraid I'm not a regular in this thread *looks away* but Southland Tales has a UK release date of 15 Sept. I can't wait!

Today it was announced that Richard Kelly "Southland Tales" will premiere at this years Cannes Film Festival (May 17-28) as part of official selection (competition for Palme d'Or and other awards). What an honor for this film.

Hopefuly Sarah can go to premiere, i think "Fishing and Hunting" movie starts shooting in May.

Couple of Southland Tales "news" (some might be old, but lets keep this topic alive):

1. Most likely it will premiere at Cannes at May 21st at 10pm (not 7pm as previously reported) at Grand Théâtre Lumière (btw i think its biggest screen in the world, 2400 seats).

2. As previously speculated, Sarah will sing "Teen Horniness Is Not A Crime" with Nasty Breeze.

She WILL sing!?! Well, that's great! I thought she did a great job in OMWF. Sarah may never win a Grammy, but I think her voice is lovely.

Sarah's going to sing? That's possibly the only reason while I'll watch a musical (can't stand them otherwise OMWF was great, but that was Buffy).

We don't know how it will play out. My quess is that it will be background music (with Sarah voicing the lyrics) while Krysta and her girls hop in the sand. Maybe Krysta will sing (in sort of music video sense, meaning its not only a background music), maybe not - personaly no idea.
