Interesting. I wouldn't mind that! Or her as Catwoman, as she can kick arse, and have Harley played by someone else... But them suggesting 'Meg Griffin'?

Default Quantum Quest: SMG probably replaced

Sarah voiced Rayna, a neutrino Ranger. But as you can read on the new homepage for the movie Amada Peet now voices this character...

From the production company:

This computer-animated science fantasy film interweaves billions of dollars of space imagery captured by 5 on going space missions with an imaginary atomic universe to create a captivating action adventure story that is fun for the whole family, and subtly educates and motivates viewers about our solar system. In the film, we follow the adventure of Dave (John Travolta), a young photon, who is forced to leave the comfort of his home deep inside the sun, to save his kind from annihilation by the evil forces of FEAR (Samuel L. Jackson). THE VOID (David Warner), is the very embodiment of nothingness, he is that which existed before the big bang, and seeks to destroy everything in the universe, all knowledge, all matter, everything. Protecting mankind and the very universe against this nothingness, is THE CORE, a being that exists in all stars, who guides the atomic society of photons, protons, and neutrinos that live inside our sun. The best in this society are offered the chance to serve THE CORE in his effort to safe guard mankind. Only Dave, feeling unworthy and afraid, refuses this offer to serve, preferring to stay in the sun and play NOVA-BALL, until fate intervenes in the form of his friend RAYNA, a neutrino RANGER (Sarah Michelle Gellar) who is pursued by Gell-Man Ghosts. RAYNA forces DAVE to take up her mission, forcing him from the Sun into the dark cold vacuum of space, on a quest that takes him through the solar system to Saturn. Dave is pursued constantly by FEAR, GENERAL IGNORANCE, and MAJOR MORON, and an army of anti-matter as he races to find the Cassini Commander who holds the secret to save Dave's generation from annihilation.

“Fusion! Thanks for stopping by my webpage. I’m Rayna, a Neutrino Ranger. I serve the CORE in his fight to stop THE VOID. The VOID wants to destroy the entire universe, but I won’t let him do that. If you don’t know what a neutrino is, check out our educational center. Electron Neutrinoes are generated as a result of nuclear fusion in the sun. So like my best friend Dave, I was born in the sun. Serving the Core is cool, you should join us by signing up!” Voiced by AMANDA PEET : You can see Amanda Peet in up coming X-Files movie, as well as Real Men Cry and 2012. Amanda was born in New York city.

Smile Thanks Blessed Be!

I have a feeling this project just took too long and there was a scheduling conflict somewhere along the way. Just a guess.

"What ever happened to Sarah Michelle Gellar? Will she ever get into a major movie?
Yes—well, at least, her voice will get into a major movie. Listen for Sarah's voice opposite Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in the animated Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey, in 2010."

Didn't Amanda Peet take her place in this movie?

^I thought so too! But I'd love to see her opposite Sam in a film.

Hi everyone! My mom's book club just had a conference call with Patricia Wood, the author of Lottery. She didn't give any details about movie production timing, but she did announce that she has written multiple endings to provide the crew with options when they make the movie. Not much news, but wanted to share because it made me smile... Hopefully we will see Sarah working on this soon!

In DVD and Blu-Ray monthly, they rated the 101 greatest TV shows of all time. Buffy came in 5th, behind the Simpsons (4), 24 (3), Sopranos (2), and The Wire (1). The blurb commented on how Buffy was the original cheerleader saving the world when Hayden was still in school!

Thanks for that interesting info, M-E! And thanks to Andy also, although, personally, I think 24 sucks and I've never seen The Wire.

Oh my goodness, Ohiofan! I just realized that was you in your signature photos! How cool! I was glancing at them so fast as I scrolled down that I just assumed it was Angel and Buffy in the first photo! Very impressive artwork...
