With those "Buffy" vamps and "Scooby-Doo" shenanigans under her belt, Gellar is the perfect heroine to tackle the terrifying in this latest creeper, which is based on the Japanese hit 'Ju-On.'
The story centers on a "grudge," which is actually a curse on someone who dies in the midst of a "powerful rage." Apparently, those who run into this be-grudged, supernatural being will die -- and then carry on the same curse until it spreads and spreads ...
Gellar battles the terrifying force with co-stars JASON BEHR, another expert in the mysterious from the TV series "Roswell," as well as CLEA DUVALL, BILL PULLMAN, and KADEE STRICKLAND.
'Grudge' is produced by legendary horror-meister SAM RAIMI (director of the 'Spider-Man' flicks and the 'Evil Dead' movies), and spooks audiences this October 29th.
