She won a Daytime Emmy for her portrayl on AMC and we all know she deserved an Emmy for countless episodes of "Buffy" as well as her performance in "I Will Remember You" on the first season of "Angel". She follows in the footsteps of people like Clint Eastwood and Mel Gibson and sooner or later her accomplishments will make the mainstream Hollywoodies take note. ;) |

| I'm cynical enough to believe the reason she never got a nod was because of the title of the show. Yes, I think the academy or whatever is that shallow and would never do anything as cutting edge as nominate the star of one of the most innovative and rich TV shows in the late 90's and early 00's. Personally, I think she stepped it up quite a bit in late S5 through the end of the series. I honestly don't know how you can watch Bargaining, Afterlife, Dead Things, The Body, Normal Again, Help...so many others and not see she deserved an award. I do hope she gets her day in the sun (although, I'm not convinced she wants it) because she *so* has it coming to her. |

If this is true it really shows how ridiculous the whole awards show is as Joss should have been nominated for his writing. If somebody knows if this is true please post and verify it. |

Joss was the one nominated for his writing in "Hush" and the Hairdressing was for "Hell's Bells" and "Beer Bad"! "Beer Bad"? They must have like Sarah's one million years B.C. look!
