this is really great id this is true but why would it be about spike?? i think more people would want to see what happenes with buffy and angel... well thats what i think i love spike but when it comes to buffy and angel people go crazy they belong together

No Buffy or Angel movie because David is busy with a new TV show and Sarah has a string of movies to star in.

JM on the other hand is free and interested so why not. I will admit that I loathe Spike and really couldn't care less about him.

I have to agree with JustMe. Much as the fans would prefer a movie with Sarah and David, they're committed to other projects right now. There are a lot of Spike fans out there, but I don't think it would do as well finanacially as a movie with Sarah in the lead. I mentioned in a reply concerning Freddie's comments on Sarah and a possible "Buffy" movie that a fairly good candidate for a movie with Sarah could be based on Nancy Holder's new book "Queen of the Slayers". It picks up right where season seven ended and follows through right up to the end of "Angel". If you're into Buffy Novels then this is a good one.

well yeah but i think if they are going to even consider doinga buffy movie they need sarah and david for sure even if its a few years down the road.

Not heard of it, but something like that would be great, as it'd fill in all the blanks between the series.

Well, they're making a Spike movie because he's the most popular character in the Buffyverse. This is a fact. There wouldn't even have been a S5 of AtS if it weren't for him being brought over. If you wanna believe the speculation, this whole thing is a result of fan write-ins.

As for a Buffy movie...I don't see why you'd have to have DB to make one. The show was never about a particular ship; it was about a young woman dealing with an oppressive burden and the ravages of growing up and finding out who she is. Granted, the 3 big relationships on the show played a part in that, but not really any more than how it affected Buffy emotionally and how they changed her. A continuation in that regard, Buffy on her own still dealing with things as they come, would make a good movie, IMO.

Beyond that, I don't recall reading anything from anyone in charge about a Buffy movie. Alot of procrastinating and hedging, but never anyone who said they really, truly wanted to make it happen. I was happy with where the story ended and I'm happy that Buffy found happiness (at least implied happiness) after that. She deserves it.

Say what.. James Marsters is going to be on Smallville? I think I remember seeing something about that a long time ago, but I've forgotten about it since then. Refresh my memory someone.. please?

He's filming his episodes right now. A guest starring reoccurring role i think, lots of scenes with Lex Luthor.

Can't remember the character name tho... uhm... is it Brainiac?

I'm glad Sarah is doing other things... I think going back to Buffy right now wouldn't be good for her...

What's up with that?? I think it would
be great if she did a Buffy movie. And I think it
would be cool if david was in it but he doenst have to be, it would still be as good. I know Sarah is working on ther stuff right now but when she's almost done a Buffy movie would be great!!
I'm a huge fan of everyone in the Buffyverse and they so need to do it!!!

It would be nice, but I feel that Sarah's finished with Buffy. Yes she's glad that she's played her on TV, but is there a need for her to do a Buffy film? Plus there's already been one before.
