| From IMDB.Com - Sarah Michelle Gellar is constantly begging her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. to let her star in his upcoming TV series Freddie. The She's All That heart-throb writes, produces and stars in the ABC show, which is set to debut in October. Prinze Jr. enthuses, "She's asking me more than I'm asking her... Not in season one." Freddie stars Prinze Jr. as a Chicago chef who has to adapt to living with his niece, sister-in-law and grandmother. LINK: http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2005-08-15/ |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well I think she will be in it sooner rather than later. Everything Freddie has ever done has basically flopped, with the exception of the stuff he has done with Sarah. So I expect if the show flounders at all in the first season she will be brought in immediately. And why not? She is obviously the talent and the star power in that relationship. |

| Freddie's already been pretty clear about not wanting Sarah to guest in the first season because it'd be expected and because he presumably doesn't want to use her as a publicity stunt. If the show doesn't last to a second season, I think there's a good chance we won't see any appearances by Sarah. Contrary to popular opinion, Freddie's films have never "flopped". They haven't always made a lot of money, but most of them have also been pretty cheap to make. Pretty much nobody has ever lost money on any of his films. Like it or not, he's a successful guy. Whether this show sinks or swims, it's hugely impressive that on his first attempt he has sold a show where he's involved as a creator, writer, star and executive producer. |
