ok was it just be or was the grudge a load of crap!? Not getting at sarah, her acting was fine.............but how many ppl burst out laughing at that dead chinese/japanese women's face, and her eyes.......and that noise she made....... funniest bit was when that girl (clea Duvall) sister was in her apartment and that dead girl came up through the sheets on her bed.......haha and they are making a second one..........wtf........personally i think the advert makes it look way better than it really is, thats why so many ppl have gone to see it.

Ummm...it's fine for me. but well, may be it's about that whole culture thing. Some people were laughing in the cinema too but all my japanese friends got freaked out by the movie. They couldn't even sleep that night. It sounds very lame, but most of my Asian friends laugh at American horror (they think the whole psycho killers who gut blonde-hair girls are kinda.... cute)but they got scared by stuff like the grudge. So i dont think the Grudge is bad. It's no classic-must see, but it's ok for me. BTW, only David Lynch and Toshihiro Hirano manage to scared me (not jump-off my seat kinda scare but thinking about it during bed time kinda scare)

i have to admit i was kinda half and half about it, but i decided i liked it! And yeah, the amount of people that were laughing in the cinema was crazy! I have to admit even i couldnt stop laughing, when that woman ran back into her apartment and jumped into her bed and under the covers for safety lol The whole cinema just cracked up, but i also think it's a safety reaction, when you know something scary is coming up, you sort of laugh because its a way of calming your nerves. Guys do it especially, but i noticed they do it mainly cos their escorting their gf's to the cinema and dont wanna look like a wimp infront of them!
