| Sarah Michelle Gellar : The next Dido ? Hollywood babe Satah Michelle Gellar has been reportedly touting herself as the next Dido as she looks for a recording deal. The Grudge star famously sang in the musical episode of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer in November 2001 and has been telling friends she would love to follow in the footsteps of actress-turned-singer Minnie Driver. British newspaper Daily Express reports Gellar said: "I have written quite a few numbers and I’m looking for the right record deal. "I want to show the world the other side of me and I think I have a similar sound to Dido, so look out for me." First off. Sarah has never said anything good about her singing. She thought singing in 'Buffy' was the most horrible experience of her life. She's even denied rumors that she's singing in 'Southland Tales', so I hardly think that she's out looking for a record deal. | Slightly Obsessed Fanatic ![]() ![]() | No way... yeah she said she wasn't going to sing in Southland Tales, and that she doesn't like it becuase its so tiring and stuff. No way can this be true, right? She does have a lot of talent, but I don't want her too - I want more movies! And in that quote, is it just me or does that quote sound totally not like her? Not that I know her personally (duh), but still, it seems a little 'off'. |

| The rough rule of thumb for figuring out the truth of a media report is very simple - Don't believe a damn thing. They have proven countless times they can't be trusted. A possible source of this rumour is Sarah probably made a joke about the Buffy musical and it was taken out of context and exaggerated. |
