Confidential can reveal that the two will be special guest performers at the Victoria Racing Club's "Beautiful Girls" fashion lunch on Wednesday, March 3. The two are being brought out to Australia by promoter Andrew McManus, who has had a close association with the VRC in the past few years. Kingston had one of the biggest hits around the world last year with Beautiful Girls. Moore has been around the traps for years and has a new album, Wild Hope. She will also be in Australia as one of the support acts for American Kelly Clarkson. The lunch is part of the Flemington Festival of Racing and bringing the two big acts out to the lunch will add more glamour to a racing time not usually associated with fashion. Moore is expected to wear a frock by a local designer. She showed her fashion clout yesterday at the Herve Leger by Max Azria show at New York Fashion Week. The lunch is also put on in conjunction with the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sto...012974,00.html |
