Lindsay Lohan Remains In Rehab

Lindsay's 30 days stay at the Promises rehab clinic has expired, yet the young and restless starlet is not showing any signs of wanting to check out any time soon. That's the main reason why Lindsay and friends will not be attending Lindsay's 21st birthday party in Las Vegas night club Pure.

What could possibly keep Lindsay Lohan from partying? In normal circumstances that would be a rhetorical question, seeing how Lindsay simply
loves nothing more than to go wild. However it seems that Lindsay has decided to take this rehab period very seriously and so she will stay in rehab until she is sure that she will not stray again. While her friends and loved ones are strongly supporting her, my first reaction (and probably yours as well) is "yeah right".

Just like fellow party animal Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan had her driver's license suspended after drinking and driving. Also, the authorities found a usable amount of cocaine in the vehicle. After Paris attempted to drive again and was sent to jail for it, where she still serves time as you read this, the star from "Mean Girls" has decided that enough is enough. Time for a change, and this change can only come from her.

So she chose the "Promises" rehabilitation clinic, where she now intends to stay until she will fully recover from her problem, no matter how long it will take. Now isn't that just inspiring?

Well, before you answer, consider this. The "Promises" rehabilitation clinic is a very luxurious beach house in Malibu, with most exquisite gourmet food, maid service and personal trainers. Do not forget that all this is kept away from the curious eye of the tabloids. Don't mind me saying, but I too would love to go there and never leave. And I'm not in need of rehabilitation, well not from drugs anyway.

Nevertheless, this should prove to be a well-earned time out for the young actress, and I for one hope that she will be able to pull herself together before she decides to come out again. But until that faithful day, she is bound to screw up some more.
