Lindsay Lohan: 'Jessica Simpson is a Sweet Girl'

At times it appears that Lindsay Lohan is rumored to be feuding with nearly every young Hollywood starlet. But the Mean Girls star says one of those is not Jessica Simpson as she absolutely adores Jess and even calls her 'a sweet girl.'

Lohan recently was under assault by Paris Hilton friend Brandon Davis - so she definitely doesn't need any more enemies.

Specifically Lohan addressed the reports that she drove Jessica Simpson out of an LA club in tears following a row between the two young stars.

A report from the UK cites Lohan and she insists the story is far from true and she's actually one of Simpson's biggest supporters as she struggles through her divorce from Nick Lachey.

The Mean Girls star reportedly snapped when Simpson refused to thank her for sending a tray of drinks over to her table at a recent Hollywood soiree.

But she tells Interview magazine, "I did not go into this industry to be shown on the cover of some magazine fighting with Jessica Simpson, who I think is a sweet girl.

"She's going through a divorce, and it's heard enough for her.

"They (tabloids) basically said I was verbally harassing this girl. I'm not that person."

Lindsay also recently emerged as the bigger person in the Paris Hilton feud - well according to tabloid reports - as she sat with the Hilton sisters at a club in Los Angeles after the Davis/Hilton scene and didn't confront Paris on the ugly tirade.

Yeah I hate how tabloids make up fights between actors. It's so childish.

But without made up fights they'd lose a third of their content. How are they going to make that back up? More pictures?

I hate the tabloids that take a picture of a celebrity from the beach and like zoom in on the cellulite and the fat and say "Guess who is FAT at the beach!?!?" I don't care...every girl has at least a little cellulite. Shame on you for causing these girls to be this skinny and then back pedal by showing how skinny the girls get and scream "OMG LOOK HOW SKINNY THESE GIRLS ARE, IS IT AN EPIDEMIC!?!?!" It's your fault. You wanna know what happens to the people that don't grow up after they graduate from high school? Look at the tabloids and most of the entertainment industry. They make Hollywood seem like High school for adults. You're right KeiraLover, completely childish.
