Teen star Lindsay Lohan has hit back at fans who signed an online petition entitled 'Please Lindsay, Eat' insisting puberty is to blame for her dramatic weight-loss.

The Mean Girls star is furious at claims she is starving herself and maintains her family keep a watchful eye on her fluctuating figure.

She says, "I've lost weight because I'm 19 years old and only went through puberty a year ago. I work out, eat healthily and avoid junk food."

"Trust me, my mother would kill me if I did anything stupid. "

That body is very close to not be healthy! VERY close! I really hopes she is not lying to keep the comments away and that she si taking good care of herself. She was such a lovely girl before! Even though she still is! [img]smile.gif[/img]

My problem is with all the interviews where she's saying that she's happier being skinny (or was that her mother saying that?) Sure, it's her body and she can whatever the hell she wants with it, but it's discouraging that she thinks looks okay/better.

Shes got to be lying, shes way too skinny, and its annoying she intends to stay that way, she says people tell her she looks great - who would say that!!!
