Months after filing assault charges against Lindsay Lohan's father, Lohan's uncle, Paul Sullivan, was arrested for allegedly defrauding a federal loan programme set up by the US government to help small businesses affected by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
According to police reports, Sullivan, deposited $13100, part of $64600 in loans he received from the US Small Business Administration for his import-export business the Ropa Group, into his personal account.
However, Sullivan, who has been released on bail, denies all accusations and claims that there was simply a misunderstanding.
No court date has been set.
