LOHAN DITCHES TELL-TALE FRIEND

Movie star LINDSAY LOHAN has dumped one of her best friends after she sold a story about her to an American tabloid - and the piece almost cost her a film role.

The FREAKY FRIDAY actress, 18, was involved in a minor car crash earlier this summer (04) and was shocked when she read about it in the tabloids.

She has since traced the source of the story back to a pal who was with her at the time - and now she's an ex-friend.

Lohan explains, "The story that came out made it seem like I'd been out partying and got into an accident.

"I almost didn't get (new DISNEY remake) HERBIE: FULLY LOADED because of that story. They thought I was trouble."

I think this is the same accident as the post on the green shirt and brown pants...why would her friend make up some story about her?

I guess some people are only in it for the money, and not the friendship. I guess that might make her think twice about who her real friends are.
