| Lacey's Man ![]() ![]() ![]() | Came across this in the googlerts, and thought it deserved a thread. Thank you very much, 17, for making this available! original article link (with pictures): http://www.seventeen.com/fun-stuff/w...bert-interview 1. Bi-Coastal Babe Where did you grow up? I was born in Mississippi and lived in New York from ages 7 to 11. Then from age 11 to present I've lived in Los Angeles. 2. Child Star Were you a good student? Did you like school? Yes, I loved school. But when I started Party of Five in the fifth grade, I was taken out of school and tutored on the set. 3. But Grunge Is Back! What was the worst popular trend when you were going to school? I had Doc Martens in every color, including patent leather and shiny silver. I would also wear boys' ties. 4. Living the Dream What did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to entertain. When I was little, I would sing in front of the mirror with a hairbrush or my sisters and I would make shows. I always wanted to be on TV. 5. Career Goals What was your after-school job? When I was growing up I always wanted to be a waitress. My sister opened a restaurant in Mississippi, and I went down there and was a waitress for a few days. Let me tell you, I got it out of my system. 6. Girly Glam What was your style when you were 17? Now? I used to always want to wear my hair straight, flat, and dark as possible. Ripped jeans and a tight shirt. I thought that I had to show off parts of my body to be sexy, and now I'm 26 and I feel more comfortable in my skin. I have a very feminine style now. 7. Clique of Five What kind of clique were you in back then? Now? I was always in an artsy kind of clique. Being on TV was kind of abnormal, so it was definitely isolating at times. A lot of my friends now aren't in the industry. 8. What's In a Name? What nicknames did you have back then? Now? My family has always called me "Lay Lay," and my dad used to always call me "Dynamite Termite" because I was really short and small and I hated to be still. I would never stop. 9. Same Old Same Old What were your hobbies back then? Now? When I was 17, I did photography, and I am still into photography now. Shopping, as well. 10. Sisterly Love Who was your best friend? Is she still your best friend now? My sisters were always my best friends, and we are as close now as we were then. 11. Dreams Do Come True! What did you worry about back then? Now? Back then I would dream about having a boyfriend, now I do have a boyfriend. I would dream about wanting to drive somewhere and do what I want, and now I can. Good advice would be to slow down. It will all come in time. There's no need to rush anything. 12. Not So Mean Girl What was your high school boyfriend like? What is your boyfriend/guy you'd want to date like now? My high school boyfriend was really sweet. He's now a lawyer, and from time to time we talk. I've been in two serious relationships previously, and they've always ended peacefully. 13. Momma's Girl Who was your idol back then? Now? Career-wise, Anne Hathaway has done it all and with such grace. Growing up, I always idolized my mom. She had four kids and no money, and she found a way to support me and my siblings. Now that I am older, I realize how thankful I am for that. 14. Love for Leo Who was your celebrity crush? Now? Leonardo DiCaprio was my crush then. When I was 14, I did Lost in Space, and I was in the Four Seasons hotel. I walked into the elevator, and he was standing there. I was speechless. He got out of the elevator, and I burst into tears. 15. Parental Wisdom What advice did your parents give you when you were 17. Now? My parents always told me to stay true to yourself and honor your character. 16. Older and Wiser What advice would you give your 17-year-old self? Stop worrying that you don't have perfect hair and that you're only 5'2" and won't get an inch taller. Enjoy every moment and stop feeling that things aren't exactly how you want them to be; it isn't your fault. Relax and be grateful for what you have. You're meant to be the way you are. |

| Lacey's Man ![]() ![]() ![]() | ROFL! THIS thread popped up as a googlert! Too bad the truefacts (http://laceychabert.fanhost.net/2009...-lacey-chabert) never popped up as one. (You can also click the avatar collection in my sig to get to it.) Does Fanhost have insecticide in all the wrong places? I'd think the fansites would be getting "advertising" of some sort rather than the forums. Last edited by wannabe; 05-23-2009 at 09:25 AM.. |

| Lacey's Man ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks Shaun! I figured if I was going to devote so much energy to a research project, I might as well share the results. I've even updated the list tonight. I had a few comments I wanted to make back when I posted this, and haven't gotten to it before now, so let's see if I remember everything... (yeah right) Quote:
I know you're all imagining right alongside me what it would've been like to have our li'l goddess serving us, for a change. "I'm out of water!" "This milkshake is too cold!" "You're not from around here, are you, darlin'?" "I'm taking a dollar off your tip for lousy service." "Does this taste right to you?" ![]() Quote:

Wait, what!?! What was that other thing? Aw !Seriously, though, I'm happy for you! Quote:
Hmmm... Nope, didn't remember everything; I know I had a lot more sarcasm in mind, but apparently I've lost one or the other of those things temporarily. Oh well. You guys get a turn now. Last edited by wannabe; 06-16-2009 at 11:33 PM.. | |||||
