Someone linked up this, and I thought it would be cute to post it so people could fill in their own blanks and share them and we could all laugh or say "how cute" or whatever. And then later, it was discovered that the main body isn't written very well, at least not for anything WE would like to say, and so naturally, someone suggested I correct it. (Note: This is harder than it looks.)

You are (adjective of magnitude) (remarkable characteristic) than (someone/something with a lot of that characteristic), which I find very attractive. I (expression of displeasure) people who are (undesirable human quality), and you are not like that at all, which makes you (what it makes hir). I find myself (adjective of frequency) daydreaming about (plotline of your fantasy).

Your (body parts (plural)) are like (rare or precious things) and your (body part (singular)) reminds me of (something desirable). It's a little difficult to understand something here, but I'll try.

haha pretty good idea! Nice answers, Wannabe. I'm at work right now so it may be trickey for me to fill this bad boy out. It looks like it takes a while

It did take some thought to find words that were close enough to being right for me to use them. I had a couple hours to think it over. The irony is that as I wrote the form, I came up with all kinds of good words to use, but when it came time to fill it out, the good ones were all gone from my head, so I had to settle for what you see.

Reading it again now, a couple weeks later, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it did when I wrote it. At the same time it also looks awful.

Best blank filled in: "Hotter than you look"

Worst blank filled in: "Awesomest"

Hardest blank to fill: the simile for what her genuine smiles were like. I started trying for a warm blanket on a cold day, but she probably doesn't know what real cold is, whereas I have (not so) fond memories of digging our car out of a snow bank in the early morning, during the afterpart of a snowstorm, so my mom could take us to school and go to work, and then going inside and sitting on the radiator trying to warm my feet back up. No way I could convey all that in 10 words, especially with her having no frame of reference. Luckily, I've also lived in Mississippi, so I could flip it. :thumbup:

Dear Mom, I wish to inform you that you are the most dedicated person I have ever known. You are considerably more patient with me than a British nanny, which I find very attractive. I am saddened by people who look down on me, and you are not like that at all, which makes you a good mom. I find myself some times daydreaming about buying you a nice car.
